Great tips, photos and video overall. Immediately when you started talking I knew you were greek from the accent. Χαιρετίσματα απο Θεσσαλονίκη 🇬🇷

What I really like about your compositions, and what I try to do as well, is that they aren’t all the usual “trendy” style of shots. It really feels that you’re shooting what you really like to shoot and what you like to see in an image. Love your videos!

I have been through different phases. At some point, all of us have shot the trendy shots. And it is fine. It is what comes after that is your real artistic voice. Thanks a ton for your nice words Drew! You are are very kind!

Great video, Aris and a great topic.
I agree that oftentimes good composition is substituted with a blurry background and moody edit on social media and while that can still result in great looking images, knowing a few compositional tricks can really take an image to the next level.
A couple of my favourite techniques are framing and frame blocking, I really like your trolley with the water bottle image using this technique at 3:10
    Have a great weekend, mate🖖

100%. I am not trying to undermine completely the bokeh. I love some good bokeh myself from time to time. What I am trying to say is that a shot must be something more than just some nice bokeh. I love the moment when I took this shot with my little Ricoh because it was so clear in my head. Those shots are the best in my opinion! Have a great weekend too David!

Nice tips Aris.. how about a video showing different sensor sizes and how they differ in results for the same image and equivalent focal lengths? -- Sat

Thanks Sat. I will implement it in this series. I am thinking something like different sensor sizes and focal lengths and their use in different photo compositions. Will be very interesting!

Hi very interesting video as years ago I took a photo where the light was hitting the hills, but not the whole lot, so I didnt know at the time but it was a really good shot but i deleted it thinking it was not good but now I see it was good.

Hi Angela! That's why I never ever delete photos. I now have terabytes of photos, many of which are not good at all, but every now and then, I go back and take another look at them. Long story short, I always find hidden gems I didn't have the experience to notice when initially made. I hope you get the chance to take the photo again in the future! Thanks for watching!
