yeah i discovered that one on my own, no guide, but i'm still not done, i have played this game multiple times and i still have yet to try every little possible dialogue situation with the followers i had.
I've always been confused, if dogmeat is still at the Red Rocket (whether you meet there or not) how can he hear Nick's whistle, then proceed to get there in 2 seconds.
I get it if you have him with you on the mission cause he'd be just outside, but still.

like why does every Mr. handy have fuel, but in all the 300 years they never have to refuel?
in this game some questions don't have an answer other than narrative.

when i first started playing this game, i thought the Mr. Handy's were powered by fusion cores like everything else or maybe they extracted radiation and that was their power somehow and that would have made more sense, but then i found the gas tanks that Mr. Handy lol.
then when you power anything in the work shop, it's endless fuel consumption for all options for some reason lol, meanwhile you can use the fusion cores to power your power armor and when you don't have any perks in them, they only run from full to empty in a matter of 30 minutes when some of them have been lasting for over 300 years powering buildings, that makes zero sense lol.
it would have been cool to use your power armor as a portable power source via workshop or make your own fusion generator, i know you can make that fusion generator if you have the right perks, but because you have to get that high in the perks and instead use gasoline generators that don't even use gas because they run at an unlimited capacity, i guess you could pretend these run off of fusion core's but the engine could only handle so much power being generated.
The alternate BoS invitation feels a bit unimmersive
Because that knight tells you to "go find Danse at the police station"
But then Danse tells you that they need to get the transmitter because the others DON'T KNOW THEY'RE THERE
Not to mention the fact that you, a civilian, easily traversed the distance between the two spots so it should be a cakewalk for three military-trained soldiers.

Hancock pulls off a better looking smile than Piper lol, she just looks super uncanny and so weird.
i guess it's easier to look at someone like Hancock instead of the humans in this game when they smile, gosh she's not even the worst, it's mama murphy that is scary when she smiles and talks, the game might as well make her a ghoul lol.
That Mr Gutsy chasing you as it's gonna explode is terrifying. "I'm just getting warmed up!"
Anything running at me at high speeds in a game freak me out, especially dependent on its appearance.

It's even worse because the Mr. Handy thruster makes them the fastest robots in the game.
On the plus side, if you have the Automatron DLC, you can make the fastest robot possible using the same thing as the "legs"

I had no clue there was an alternative way to meet Dogmeat. That’s literally amazing to me.
I found out on my second play through when I purposely avoided picking him up at the gas station.

I just realized last week that after you side with the institute and kill Deacon, guards in the cities will sometimes say ‘Nice day, huh?’ aggressively at you when they see you
well i now need to go and test this, i kill that faction almost every time i play now, mostly because i hate their quest and their ideology is really stupid, i don't hate Deacon, but he is pretty delusional as well lol.
Desdemona is the most delusional.
but i have beat the game as the quote good guys of the railroad, it's just after a while you get sick of them and their stupid quest that makes literal no sense lol.
like i get that it's supposed to come off as the whole slavery thing, but it's so stupid because they are machines that appear sentient, but they are not sentient.
Yeah, I think it’s implied in Deacons dialogue and things other characters like DiMA that the railroad is significantly bigger than what we’re shown, and that Des is probably a small fry in the total organization. I think the biggest losses the railroad actually experiences when you ‘wipe them out’ is the death of Deacon (who is probably the only person you meet who is connected to the larger organization), Tom (who seems to have intimated knowledge of institute computer code), and the loss of PAM (a mobile supercomputer).

you can choose to not destroy PAM funny enough, i mean she will appear a enemy but she won't fight you when you are wiping them out, but if you spare her, the brotherhood take her and wipe her memory and use it for themselves lol.
it's a great little nugget hidden in the story.
but i think i might spare them in my next playthrough, because i just realized something i have not tried yet, is to take Deacon with me to the Dima quest, so far i have only taken Nick and or going there by myself and taking x6-88, that was disappointing because he had zero dialogue, just stupid silent likes and dislikes, i was hoping he would have lots to say while i did these quests, but nope, i guess bethesda didn't think the player would ever side with the institute because they made them out to be the ultimate bad guys bla bla bla.
i side with them almost every time now, because Shaun is gone, i run the institute now, not him and not the other scientists, i know they are really the best option out of all the other factions, the institute and it's leaders just need to see it from my perspective lol. sorry i play with the subversion mod lol, that mod is really great when it comes to perspective and options in the story and how it plays out.
going back to my other points, some character's bethesda did a good job adding character development to for the DLC's, where others were hardly an after thought, which is super disappointing, so my hope is that Deacon actually has something to offer to the events in Far Harbor.
That’s actually a good point. It would be hilarious if Arcadia became aggressive if you brought either Deacon, X6, or Danse.

seeing the BOS one with the prydwen (i spelled that wrong) triggers me because for the last two play throughs at cambridge police station one of the ghouls you have to fight when you first get there is always missing!! and i get soft locked out of the BOS quest line right from the first quest lol
i forget what softlocked means, is that when your stuck in conversation and can't get out while being attacked by an enemy?

in bethesda games this is very common lol even without mods.
or let's use an example of skyrim when fighting Miraak and he does his stuck in ethereal thing and you can't continue the game because he's stuck and there is nothing you can do to fix it other than load back to a previous save game.

how the hell does Garvy even get word of another settlement that needs your help, i men the dude doesn't even have a pipboy to hear transmission's or a radio of any kind or anything at all, he just pulls it out of his ass, and by some miracle you show up on time to help that settlement lol.
i think it would be more lore friendly if he had some kind of network that made sense where he gets his information.

Awesome job man! Yeah that’s the beauty with these Fallout games. There’s always some cool hidden detail & dialogue that you miss. I’ve played these Bethesda & obsidian games multiple times and there’s probably still some stuff that I haven’t found yet.

That good old times when Bethesda really cared about writing a good game... so much details, things to uncover, different scenarios and now after Starfield i fear what will become Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5...
honestly starfield made me excited for FO5! did you see all the glorious clutter on the desks?? man FO5 is going to be great! at least visually…who knows about the story but i’m hoping they can really wow us!

F4 has its problems and its bugged as hell to this day, but at least the gameplay carried people to finish the game. I really can count on my fingers the number of people I know that finished Starfield.

@@StoneAgeWarfare People who tells Fallout 4 is a trash are just the Obsidian widows, it's a really good and fun game, but from F04 to Starfield is a big way down, and why am i saying that? because a spend 644 hours in the game and then i saw how far from the old ones it was, no more handmade work, details, dialogs and remarkable quests, the engine is looking beautiful but has not a single technical improvement, no more unique places, just infinite generation of nothing, yeah, i'm sad to say this, because no other developer made me happy to play a game like Bethesda did.
@@alexandreutiyama547 I'm pretty sure the modder that gave up was one high profile guy that's known for being hard to work with. The headlines say he's the creator of Skyrim multiplayer, but in reality, he was on a dev team. I think a lot of the discussion of this game is catastrophizing, especially regarding that Bethesda is likely going to address many of its issues in the live service format they're possibly going to be rolling with. Promising 5 years of support for Starfield is already more than their prior track record of 1.5 years per game.
Just when I thought I'd seen everything this game had to offer....

I was on my 5th playthrough when I found Billy. But it wasn't till my 10th (after buying some Creator Content) that I discovered the Supermutant hideout near Diamond City.
Love fallouts. Knew almost all of these, never thought about using vats that early though 😅
FO4 is my 2nd favorite game i've played of all time. right behind GTA5. even tho it had some quirks and bugs, it was still really fun to play back in 2016 and seemed pretty ahead of its time with the depth of re-playability and so much care taken in certain exploration aspects. i feel like a lot of games these days are done in a much more lazy way that just doesnt measure up

VATS without a Pip Boy. My theory is that the vault walls have embedded projectors so if you don't have your Pip Boy, the vault itself can project the targeting info for you.
And in one of the descriptions of synth coursers in the game (can’t remember which one) it says that synth coursers have the ability to target specific limbs with insane accuracy

It crashes as soon as you hit level 20
i will be honest, i didn't know about the whole shoot robot's arms off and them self-destructing, but it has happened on a few occasions, i just didn't know it had to do with shooting their arms off lol.
most everything else i have already tried, but for the seeing your wife in cryo dead i think i only visited this with one follower didn't think of bringing anyone else.
i did one thing i normally don't do is bring x6-88 to far harbor, thought he might have some more dialogue, but nope, he was really boring in that playthrough with pretty much no special dialogue, it sucks too, because i thought he would bitch and moan during that whole quest, all i got was likes and dislikes, it was really dumb.
Actually that's howbi always met dogmeat because I aleays ignore him when I get to red rocket

Its like how the Star Wars sequels made people appreciate the prequels.
There's definitely fair criticism to give to Fallout 4's story, but it's not terrible like New Vegas fanatics want you to believe.
@@flameguy3416 I think the point is that the games overall has progressively gotten worse in both Fallout and Elder Scrolls games ever since Bethesda took it over. The original games for both had much more in depth lore and mechanics. The obvious is comparing Morrowind to Oblivion or Fallout 2 to Fallout 3. In both cases, a lot of things were "dumbed" down or removed. Understandable in some cases due to advancement from 2d to 3d and requiring more data to code all that which takes more money and time. To meet reasonable time frames, things needed to be cut out. The problem is that continued as graphics and new technology advanced requiring larger teams to code and longer development cycles. Not to say that it can't get better. If you consider the advancement of AI, it may be possible to cut the basic coding out and focus more on the story, plot, lore, mechanics. Of course, it's not quite there yet where AI could reliably code a decent product.
Skyrim is a masterpiece, but when you really compare it to some of the older games, it has been stripped down considerably at least as far as combat system, magic, story, lore, etc. I may point out that the more recent games seem to be having longer development times. I remember a time when sequels came out less than a year apart. These days, it's more than a decade? Skyrim was released back in 2011. We are past a decade for ES6.
Skyrim was always insanely popular.

Ngl, F4 has its problems and it is not my favorite fallout. But I get the feeling that it was the last game Bethesda made when they were still trying. I measure this because at least I had the will to finish the game (doing most of the side content and DLC). Starfield lost me in the first 3 hours pitty i didn't try for a refund earlier.
Kid in the fridge is the single stupdiest quest and characters ever created for a Bethesda game.
