      in some videos is not clarity about if the police lied about resisting or not so it mean the video should not say that the person resisted because in the video is not clarity that it resisted as the camera go in a direction which i dont see it so i request the videos from now on to say that is not clarity about what the police did since the video camra is in another direction

    I was in a volunteer fireman and was in EMS for many years and had to deal with a lot of situations that the police were having to deal with. Several times I talked with them and told them I could go into burning builds and can pull bodies out of horrific crashes but there was no way I would want their job!! It takes a lot to be a police officer and I truly respect what they have to deal with. My next door neighbor is a policeman and we have a lot of converstations and I let him know that if he ever needs to bend an ear I'm here for him. People who aren't involved in those situations truly don't understant what they go through. If you are a police officer reading this... Thank you for your service... and if you ever need an ear to bend...

      That is really great of you. I was a c/o for 25 years and retired as a Lt. at our County Jail so I knew our law enforcement really well. It is funny, I know what these guys go thru, but I cannot tell you how many of them said there is no way they would ever trade jobs with me. First responders I believe are all a different breed or you couldn't do your job. Thank you for what you did all those years, I couldn't have done that. It is nice to know that officer has you to talk to.

      @tabaxikhajit4541 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      I can't relate to the traumatizing experiences first responders face. I was a nurse supervisor who managed code blues and every other code. But I didn't face life or death situations every single day. I have huge respect for our first responders. The stress never lessens because the urgency never lessens. First responders are heroes.

    As a young man I once had a couple of warrants out for me, (no show for traffic tickets) I had simply forgotten about them , BTW never do that. Anyway A cop approached me while I was changing a flat, asked to see license, reg, and proof. Which I politely and respectfully gave him and continued to change the flat. He returned about 4 minutes later asking me to accompany him back to his police car. We had already established a respectable compliant repose. I followed him back he instructed me to sit in the backseat of his car. Which I did without incident. At this time he informed me there was a warrant out for my arrest. I was a bit surprised but asked "a warrant? really what was the warrant for?" He did a little check to see what it was about. Then told me about a traffic ticket I had months ago that I failed to show up for. It was at this point, I thought I might be going to jail. After all it wasn't the policeman's fault it was my mistake and mine alone. I wouldn't had blamed him for doing his job if he hauled my butt to jail. Instead he surprised me with a stern warning to address this issue today or tomorrow at the latest. I assured him I would and he let me go. It was that simple. This is where you need to see, it isn't about the cop verse you it's a matter of respect for the law and that person wearing the badge that might help you in this kind of situation. Are there bad cops? Yeah of course there are, but not every cop that pulls you over is out to get you. Most cases they are people that just doing their job. So give them the benefit before you present them with an attitude, even with a bad attitude be respectful always.

    • @unclemikecruz
      @unclemikecruz 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It’s about respect. I used to commercial fishing for up to 3 months at a time. And had a ticket to that I forgot about as well. After they took me in by afternoon I was out and took care of my ticket too. The fine was suspended by judge who heard my side. Had the registration sticker but never put it on. Slipped my mind.

      Hahhahahaaa I say this all the time. Lol I am one of those I know my rights people but depending on the officers approach during any situation will depend on how I respond. I've had police enter my home uninvited knowing they had no right to have entered I have (verbally) aggressively backed them out of my home slamming the door in their face, locked the door, dropped the blinds shut off the outside light and told them to have a nice evening but to get tye f*** off my porch. During traffic stops my friend looks at me and says please don't, my response is always well that depends on them Dan 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I've asked them what they would do if 8njust drove away and when they had no response I said that's right nothing told Dan to get in the car and we drove away. I respect all GOOD cops. But the ones that are in it just so they can bully people, I'm going to give them the same respect they are giving me.

    I haven't had any issues with law enforcement in quite a long time,about 15 years or so. In fact,my son went into law enforcement and works as a police officer..
    However many years ago,before I grew up,I had regular encounters with the police for general stupid shit..
    Back then I never paid any tickets or went to court..Every ticket always became a warrant. Plus,I was a functioning opioid addict at the time as well.. My point is,I dealt with the cops on a fairly regular basis,I understand the feeling of seeing the lights behind you,knowing you have a warrant and a bag of weed in your sock.. however I have never understood the anger many have for the arresting officer..
    I have always known that the situation I was in was created by my own actions..
    Also,even if you are angry your best bet is to stow that shit..
    If a police officer has made a decision to arrest you,then you ARE GOING TO BE ARRESTED.
    It doesn't matter what you say,scream,or theaten..
    Not one time in the history of crime has an officer placed someone in cuffs with the intention of taking them to jail and then changed their mind based on the pleas of the cuffed..
    Screaming and cussing will never help you but it may well harm you.
    New charges,plus,many officers will let someone come get your car so it doesn't get impounded,but they don't have to..
    Or maybe you want to smoke a cigarette before getting booked in?
    That ain't happening for sure if you cuss the officers..

    I'm a diabetic, and there has been a few times where my sugar level dropped low and I acted JUST LIKE THIS MAN. Confused, distant, unable to follow a thought. Quick to temper, and just wanted to go home and eat something. In cases like this, too often cops are quick to decide that someone like me is on drugs and/or drunk, and won't allow them to take a much needed glucose pill, or give them time to explain the situation. There was a case many years ago that made the news that a man was suffering from this very situation and was trying to get home, the cops assumed he was drunk and went so far as to fire on the man, injuring him. Just because he was on the brink of passing out and couldn't stop much less control his car.

      @@pshaw8406 Mine has gotten worse, but now it goes high rather than low, plus I've had kidney cancer twice now, and I'm living on 1/3 of a kidney. I've managed to keep it below 200, but only if I only eat once a day and avoid anything with carbs or starch. Even cold medicine can cause a huge jump in my levels, it's crazy. High levels causes nerve damage, even in the brain. Plus it damages the organs, including the kidneys. I brought this up because I very nearly lost my job years ago when I had my sugar drop, and I was driving a forklift. I had tunnel vision and almost crashed into the wall by the break room door. A boss seen it and started to yell at me about drinking on the job and a friend of mine rushed over, grabbed me before I fell, and half-carried me into the break room while telling that ass what was wrong and in VERY colorful language how stupid that guy was! My sugar level was 42, the normal low is 70-80.

      Considering that the cops can’t diagnose people pn the spot, the diabetic needs to carry a card that explains their condition, and keep something to eat, and not drive when their blood sugar is low. Having a condition doesn’t negate bad choices. Every person is responsible for their own health, and if they are acting hostile, being difficult, or are just plain disrespectful, it unlikely they will get the help they need.

    • @scarsdale7186
      @scarsdale7186 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      When you are in the state of low sugar, your are confused and irritable, scared and trying to do what you can to fix the issue. In the clip the cop was asking the right questions, but didn't take into account the man was very confused and barely talking, just like how I was.
      The incident I spoke of happened years ago and was a case of an over-reaction. They could of pitted the car instead of firing on the man, he was in a coma for weeks, and was disabled the rest of his life, just because he had a medical condition. Cops have been trained to look for the signs now, but as often happens, they still make a poor judgment call. How is carrying a card going to make a difference when they drag you out of a car, cuff you, and tell you to shut up?
      I had a rookie pull his gun demanding I drop the gun when it was only my cane? I was 60, clearly disabled, and I was only walking to the bus stop! Even the cop was with with him jumped his ass! Training and taking the time to ask before reacting is the issue here, not "poor health habits." If you lose control of your glucose levels it's a health issue, NOT by a choice. Someone that's new to the illness might not know better, or ran out and needed more?
      Ask someone you know that is a severe diabetic the same questions and see what they say.
      By the way I carry glucose tablets but what do YOU think a cop would do if I reached into my pocket and tried to take one? Even if I could only mumble out "I have a sugar low"
