Isiah was a warrior! I once stood near him and he was barely taller than me and I'm, 5' 8' He didn't back down from the meanest and toughest in the NBA.
Forgot some of the crap Thomas used to do. Kicking and stepping guys on the ground, slapping someone with their back turned, etc. Mahorn was another piece of work. Both deserved anything anyone retaliated with. Not sure why Malone was included in this clip, compared to the intentional acts by the others. The poke in the eye by Robinson was as intentional as the elbow Robinson got.
remember when Isiah tried to cold cock Rick Mahorn when he played for the 76ers? This was the season after (1990) Mahorn was left unprotected due to the expansion draft. Mahorn just looked at Isiah then to the ref and was laughing his ass off! Isiah got ejected for that. Then later that night Rick Mahorn shoved the ball into Rodman's face then after that Laimbeer and Barkley were trading punches .... ah the good ol days!!!
@@dusttaker yep. They included that clip here. Thomas looked like a fool. When your ex teammate starts laughing when you take a swing at them it means he knows you are a punk and not worth going after. Thomas should have headed to the locker room in shame. They should have shown the footage of Thomas leading them off the court before the end of the game against the Bulls. SMH.
For my generation, as I'm 49 years old, Karl Malone is the second strongest man in the league during those days. Only Shaq was stronger. Kevin Willis and David Robinson was right behind The Mailman in terms of strongest man in the NBA at that time.
Woah is me I grew up in the hood and now I'm all grown up and making millions of dollars and dam it I'm still angry and I just can't get the hood out of me well welcome to the way society should work and get over whatever it is you were supposed to leave be behind and act like a real man
I feel bad for the Gen Z'ers and younger millennials that never had a chance to see the athlete that was Karl Malone. For his size and weight he was an absolute beast in every way. Not only that he could run faster than anyone on the court. I remember watching him dart full court and catch people that had 30 feet on him and block their shots or stop them in some way. Plus, the Stockton to Malone era was pure fundamental basketball. Jerry Sloan their coach was one of the best. Today's NBA is absolute shit.
@@bballvault 😅I'm biased, I grew up a Mavs fan so I instinctively still hate him and Stockton for dominating the West. And I still remember those damn elbows.
I'm glad they changed the rules. The players are an investment for the owners/NBA and they have to protect their investments. Plus hard fouls and handcecking isn't good defense. Sorry ass 80s and 90s basketball.
My testosterone level went up after watching this video of the good ole NBA days.
Facts
Malone knew how to camouflage his cheap shot violence better than almost any of the bigs … a real assassin
Facts 😂
Malone and Stockton were dirty players, which is one reason they never go it done.
good old days fun to watch
As a Detroit native, Bad Boys era will always be my favorite. I loved watching Laimbeer play dirty as hell lol.
Good old days of NBA when physicality is the game and no flopping drama.. 😅
there was always some flopping drama but it wasn't so common or commonly accepted
Ok now 10:45 makes sense Karl had a receipt for Robinson 7 years later
Jawaun Howard was giving it to Malone 🤣🤣
You meant Juwan
Phoenix vs jazz in 1990 ...that was a great series ...
Loved the NBA back then
Isiah has such a pleasant smile and looks like such a clean cut classy guy who would think he was that way lol
That Malone face on the thumbnail says it all..." Damn right I did it to him, and I'll do it a AGAIN "😂😂😂😂😂
Dead ass tho..he ain't give a fuck
Isiah was a warrior! I once stood near him and he was barely taller than me and I'm, 5' 8' He didn't back down from the meanest and toughest in the NBA.
The NBA has got so soft over the years.
LOL
Soft as Charmin
So have men
Loved basketball back then
Karl Malone elbow is a personal invitation to the Shadow Realm...
Players:
- Karl Malone
- Isiah Thomas
- Rick Mahorn
SO, THE 76ERS HAD BARKLEY, MAHORN AND ARMON GILLIAM?! NO WONDER..
The Pistons weren't the only dirty team. Malone was there to give you the elbow too.
so Malone really liked to kick people lmfao
You clearly missed what Thomas did. It looked like Malone was stopping a baseline pass.
The most dangerous places in 90's basketball are driving to the basket and put backs
Lots of elbows flying and clotheslines back them
Isaiah Thomas used to act like he could whip someone’s ass but really couldn’t 😂🤣

15:50 THIS IS CLASSIC
I love bball vault 🏀🏀🏀🏀💖💖💖💖👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯A+
80's 90's up to 2010 very physical game is real you cannot score easy, now nba you can score easy because of the rule
now thats how you score 30,000 points. by getting a tech after. 9.58
today, I realized that Shawn Bradley is a dirty player..
Hey BBvault do u have the footage of Magic Johnson throwing hands??? Or Stackhouse vs Hornaceck?
And everyone and their mama claims the Pistons was the only team to play like this… looks like everyone played that way, Pistons just perfected it

The iron man Karl Malone, unfortunately lost to Jordan, this is the arrangement of fate
Gasol looks mad different lol
Kenyon Martin!!🫡✌🏽
When the NBA was for men and men only
"The Pistons junked up the game."
-----Michael Jordan
Estos eran juegos de verdad. No como ahora con un Lebrón de cristal
I feel bad for Bradley
Great upload. For a big strong guy he was a bit of bitch. !
Yes, your mother sure was.🤷🏾♂️
@@Curtchrisdagod wow ! Awesome comment. Its great to see 9 year olds are interested in early 90s NBA. Keep up the awesome work little homie.
First fight 7:44 skip thru the video 0:00 - 7:43 a waste of time.
I think doubting the players toughness isn't fair...the league got soft
All of these get u ejected and 500,000 dollar fine
These were games within the game
The old school NBA was feisty.featuring hot headed Hakeem olajuwon bill lambeer, and others
pistons taking their own medicines. lol
That hitting on the ass shit I couldn’t let no guy let alone guy’s just hit me on my ass because of respect! Naw!
Both of them were big pos! I miss this league. I have bad news everyone. It’s not coming back
4:20 -> That was a 38 yrd old Malone. Damn. Him, Oakley, Barkley, Rodman wouldnt last 3 min in this soft NBA
would not want Malone mad at me
Woah is me I grew up in the hood and now I'm all grown up and making millions of dollars and dam it I'm still angry and I just can't get the hood out of me well welcome to the way society should work and get over whatever it is you were supposed to leave be behind and act like a real man

Seems more then most....less in game. Self defeating.

Dirty
Malone isn’t tough
Politics ruined the NBA.
I never get tired of Malone elbowing Isiah…ever…why? Ask those women Isiah assaulted…when he was Prez of NYK…
Flagrant fouls and flopping 🤔....whaaaa I thought that stuff didnt happen back then 🤔🤔...😅
Defence happened back then..not like todays no touch puzzy league
LeBron wouldnt survive in that NBA
Isaiah is a little angry looser...never wins 😂😂😂
Malone was dirty, not tough.
Definitely one of the dirtiest players ever but I’d consider him pretty tough too imo but it’s all good tho

Are you implying that teams play defense in today’s game 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You should watch no touch netball then softie...oh wait...nba today is pretty much netball except with dudes..lmao
@@ronm3945 softie?? U must wanna play me 1 on 1?
