That bare wall could be turned into a gallery wall, or floating shelves with pots of herbs since it’s so close to a he kitchen or maybe another mirror, possibly round this time. Mirrors bounce light around a room and since your living room mirror is facing your sofa it won’t feel like too many mirrors. I live to rearrange my things, it makes me feel like I have new pieces sometimes. Thanks for sharing
Consider placing the mirror next to the window and having the plant in front. You can then move the artwork that is there to the blank wall and add other pieces! ❣️
Hi Kirsten! I love your style and think your home is absolutely perfect. I enjoy your videos and your calming personality. I would like to "copy" your gallery wall in your kitchen. Could you please provide the size of prints that you chose? Thank you!
Hello Kirsten, I think the glass vase by itself on the table looks good .The outfit with your bag went well together and the bag was really stylish. NYC is famous for Its Pizza and that pizza looked yummy. That is a good idea to wallpaper that blank wall by the Kitchen, my Landlord won't allow anything like that, we can only hang Canvas Art. Enjoyed the video and Can't wait to see your choice of wallpaper. Stay Safe.
I've been wondering is your sofa comfy to sleep on? I have a habit of falling asleep on my sofa and have been looking for a stylish AND comfy alternative.
Loving you in the pink jkt. I tried boxing was not for me. Can’t wait to see the changes you will have done by next week. The two years have gone by fast. Did you sign a lease for more than 2 years?
And for the kitchen wall I would get a picture frame and some canvas and paint it chalkboard paint and use it for a list things to do😊 it would look nice there
You're inspiring I actually started back today exercising was hard getting started but I felt so amazing afterwards now I'm feeling motivated I have the same curl pattern as you I use Olaplex dry shampoo I love it doesn't leave a residue I use a scalp tea tree spray I wash my hair once a week I just hate all the shedding in shower I detangle my hair prior still sheds a lot in shower hair everywhere which I hate it's a choir for me try scalp rinses there's several some with apple cider, tea tree oil, rosemary oil etc they refresh scalp just rinse or some you just massage in😊
If that was my apartment and I put a mirror like that I'd kiddie Korner it so it would make the room look bigger put it kind of Center the corner of it and then set your little plant in front of it and be beautiful you would enhance your whole house❤
Kirsten, your place looks great! However, l think the mirror should lay on the wall by the window and put the floor lamp center to the wall by the t.v. either side!
Hi Kirsten! Another great vlogg! Love the way u decorate. That was a smart move putting the stool in the corner where ur mirror is at. Just a suggestion, how about purchasing a large letter K (Kirsten) and hanging it on the blank wall. 😊 Good luck!😍
Refresh hair by listing with rose water and eucalyptus rose water hydrates and refreshes and eucalyptus oil is antibacterial. Do this before you shower or a few hours before you go out to avoid smelling ‘herbal’. Once your bodies moisturised and your fragrance is on you won’t smell eucalyptus and your hair will look great.
That vase should be gold. It would brighten your space and make it look lux because the grey vase looks depressing and sad. With a neutral background like yours it would be good to brighten it up with accent color or bright metals. Another idea is to use white. Grey use to be in a year or more ago but it's just so dull that it's depressing unless there are other colors around it. That brown pillow you have on the couch is not looking so great. Maybe a different color. Use the large mirror to reflect and make it look bigger in there by angling it or make it so it reflects outdoor light.
I don’t care for the mirror in the corner. Next to the TV, the flat surfaces are just too “stacked”. “Weird,” as you said. I also think your surfaces are starting to look a little cluttered compared to your usual style. It’s still gorgeous and 100x nicer than my home, but just more than I’m used to seeing in yours.
Your hair is so beautiful I was just wondering why you wash it so much because with your type of hair it may not be necessary unless there is dandruff or something. I would suggest you check TH-cam for some ideas. Me personally I would straighten it out and wear a cute ponytail style. Unfortunately that takes a little extra time and you seem so comfortable with the curls. Either way you still have a beautiful head of hair to work with.😊
Thank you, I wash it so much due to my consistent workout routine - same reason I don't straighten it often (it would get frizzy and curl up within an hour of me exercising). But yes I do love my curls and it took me a long time to get to that so I'm happy to rock them ❤️
No offense but great designers know you need negative space (blank wall or space not filled with anything) or your house looks cluttered. Not every inch needs to have something on it. And keep the knick knacks (decorative objects) to a minimum. They just end up being dust collectors. I would remove that lamp, that stool and that coffee table and the stuff on it. It’s just too much. You can’t even use the coffee table honestly because it’s covered with stuff.
Don't waste the mirror by not seeing it from the whole room Angle it to reflect and make it look bigger in there. You can buy a flat large mirror for the space beside the fridge too. I can't stand your grey vase and bowl. Yuck but I still luv yah girl.

Yes I was thinking gallery wall initially but I have the gallery wall directly across it in the dinette so a mirror was my next thought!
I do like the mirror in the corner it reflects the light...starting to come together! Change us good!

My thoughts too
I can’t wait till see the decor in your kitchen for that wall. 👏 don’t take long please 🙏 I love to see how you decorated.
I do redecorating simply and regularly. Love to shop my house and change things around too !!
Its a natural mood lifter!!!!
It really is! So refreshing

Thank you so much! I went with 20x28 for the large poster in the middle and 12x16 for the rest - hope that helps!
I like when u decorate. Do more videos of decoration in spring, summer, fall and Christmas 👏👏👏👏
Thank you! Will do!
When did you get your curls back? I love your hair curly
Looks good! Where did you get your wall scones? And how did you get them on the wall. Thank you ❤
They're from west elm! I anchored them into the wall myself, but they're not hardwired so I used battery powered lightbulbs
Look forward to what you do with the wall...
stay well, mijita...🌺
Thank you!! ❤
It’s too crowded in the living-room and yes please leave the blank wall because it’s too much going on .
Great video Kirsten. I always enjoy it here and you are correct… Subtle changes make a big difference at times… Everything looks nice! 🧡🫶🏽
Yay, so glad you enjoyed!
The bare wall is lovely, or you could put a picture on it. You could put the plant against it?
Thank you! Considering all these options😊

I've been wondering is your sofa comfy to sleep on? I have a habit of falling asleep on my sofa and have been looking for a stylish AND comfy alternative.
i've fallen asleep on it a couple times, but I wouldn't say it's the most comfy - more firm and not super deep. Hope that helps!
@@kirsten-ashley for sure insightful, thank you!
Hello, Where did you get the dining room chairs from? I’d love to get a pair for myself.
Hi, they're from Target!
Thank you! I hope they still have them.@@kirsten-ashley

Aw I'm so glad, keep it up! Thanks for those suggestions, I will look into them!!
I was going to suggest an accent wall. Wallpaper would be the perfect added touch.
Yes! I think so too 😌
How often do you change things around? I would hate changing too often lol. You're place looks very nice!
Probably twice a year if I had to guess, sometimes minor changes and sometimes bigger furniture rearranging!
@@kirsten-ashley Gotchu! I guess not too bad.
My advice would be switch the sofa where the tv is . Or behind the heater so you get more space, right now it looks to narrow !
Like the mirror move. How about painting wall white to cover those marks or try Mr. Clean to remove. Then some artwork!
I used the magic eraser and it worked wonders!
Good to she a new Vlog from you.❤.
Hope you enjoyed it!
Hi what is the name of the restaurant you went to please?
Hi, it’s called Macoletta in Williamsburg!
If that was my apartment and I put a mirror like that I'd kiddie Korner it so it would make the room look bigger put it kind of Center the corner of it and then set your little plant in front of it and be beautiful you would enhance your whole house❤
Try putting a large picture on the bare wall. 😊
Loved it like always! ❤
Why don't you try putting the mirror towards an angle? Like almost facing you if you walk in through the kitchen.
11:30 honestly your hair looks great here! Curly and fluffy, not as perfectly defined
Oh thank you! Gotta embrace it in all stages
Kirsten, your place looks great! However, l think the mirror should lay on the wall by the window and put the floor lamp center to the wall by the t.v. either side!
Yess, I tried that also but the mirror is too wide for the wall and cuts off some of the window 😭
@@kirsten-ashley Thanks for letting me know Kirsten!

Mirror should be catty-corner against the wall.
Gym-how about a bun? some box braids? Cornrows?
Set the stool in front of the mirrir

I liked the previous arrangement better!
It made the most sense but I've lived with it for so long I'm ready for some change!
the mirror in the corner reflects nothing and doesn't make the space look any bigger.....and the view looking at it from the kitchen looked weird.

Mirror to go to entryway or ur room it is too much in the living room with it so big no no
