- This P0037 has been on for months. I bought the sensor months ago.... finally decided to just go and replace it and figured why not make a quick DIY for people to see if they run through this as well. Very easy 10 minute job that a shop would probably charge you an arm and a leg for. Just do it yourself!
Thank you! Haynes repair manual simply states pull “the seat” and pull carpet back. After both front seats pulled and started looking at the alignment funny, I pulled that plastic cover, then looked up the rear downstream location for a 2005 Sienna, and found your video. Thank you again!
Love it! Thanks! Only thing I would had done differently is not plug the body plug in until the sensor was screwed in, so not to coil the wires. Super thanks! 😉
Of the 4 oxygen sensors (up/downstream front/rear), this is the one (downstream rear) that matters whether you have a FWD or AWD. 234-4516 for the FWD. 234-4512 for the AWD.
super helpful, I just got the same code reading on an 06 sienna and need to replace it
Very useful. Thank you very much.
Nice..thank you, this is very helpful.
Very clear !!! Thank You!
Is this the same for a 2007 Sienna. I know the engine is different but my bank 1 sensor 2 code has been on for quite a while.
replace it
Did any copper anti-seize compound come with the O2 sensor?
Yes and tbh I forgot to use it, however I’ve never had any issues without using it so it’s nothing that bothered me.
Did you have a P0420 code? And did this fix it?
wondering this too
Very helpful, thanks.
Buen video bro y una pregunta desconectaste la batería oh no?? Vi en otros vídeos dicen que hay q desconectar la batería
Tbh ive done it on some cars with and without and it never hurt anything, but to be on the safe side it would be best to unplug the battery when messing with anything electrical.
@@zerolimits1559 thank you bro 🙏🙏
I got quoted 375 today after I spent $1,835 at the mechanic getting timing belt water pump he said it was so expensive because they had to reprogram something also.? Is this right 👍?
no. no reprograming. they just delete the old code
