    I have that new version, brand new. I tightened it all the way and it tilts no matter what. My monitor drops instantly.

    Thanks to your video at 2:24 I figured out how to tighten it. My mount had too much movement from side to side and now fixed, thanks!

    nice video, thanks for showing. what about the pin on monitors without pin area like the Feelworlds? will the pin damage the monitor?

    • @MichaelSchmidt_UrbnPxl
      @MichaelSchmidt_UrbnPxl  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      the pin is spring-loaded so it will get pushed in if there is no pin area ... so all good

      the Rode VideoMic NTG is great ... use it even with the rode wireless go II for interviews on a boom

    When mounted in the angled front Arri mount, does it block the cold shoe slots?

    when do you use the handle? I found it quite useless but I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

    • @MichaelSchmidt_UrbnPxl
      @MichaelSchmidt_UrbnPxl  ปีที่แล้ว

      well, 80% of the time I don't use the top handle and mount the monitor directly to the cage with the Monitor Mount... but if i know that i want / have to shoot "low angle style" a top handle is nice to have

    • @k1k13004

      @@MichaelSchmidt_UrbnPxl It's exactly what I thought. I was telling myself "if I don't need this move, then I don't need that". Or maybe it's convenient if you want take the setup and put it somewhere else.

      @@k1k13004 yes ... indeed a top handle is also nice to "carry the camera around" but sometimes makes the camera bulgy and its tricky to use the EVF with a top handle

  • @Nagadosch
    @Nagadosch ปีที่แล้ว

    For me personally these monitor mounts are all too bulky, I would really like some mini version without this huge distance between the handle and the monitor

      @@Webrisernl yes... very much... it is small, lightweight, and not expensive ... for the money it's awesome... especially if you want to keep ur rig/setup small and light
