This is such wonderful art! This further shows you what art really can be, a collaboration between instruments and people! The interplay of both the original data from the leaf, the math used to extract and translate the data, and the human touch make for such a wondrously rich soundscape. I would dare be as bold as to claim that this is in fact likely one of my favorite pieces of art to date. Art shines best when its made with many elements singing together, machine, man, and nature. Wonderful.
Great work to all involved and especially the players! I didn't like the visualizer at the beginning, but it grew on me because it was quite precise in reflecting what the notes were doing. Plus I like piano roll view lol
@@HughDavison Like new music, my new visualizations take some learning to appreciate. I often can’t tell whether I like a new one until my eyes have figured out how to look at it.
Wow, I just saw this on Marc Evanstein's channel, fun to see you and him working together!

Wonderful.
Wow the animation is absolutely mesmerising :0
It’s cool how all this could come from just a random leaf; just goes to show the power of creativity
Came here from Marc Evanstein's video about the Irrepressible Loopiness of Leaf Music.
This piece could almost be a classical one.

@@dokchampa9324 It got a lot more attention on Marc’s channel (he’s the composer, after all)
@@smalin I mean, fair enough, but I really am partial to all the funky colors and satisfying animations
