This terrific story was actually my introduction to this series" One the Trail of the Vampyre." It is an excellent story, a good entry in an excellent series. At first the narrative style seems unnecessarily long winded and vague. The protagonist speaks about his background, the background of the town and its people, memories, observations, thought and historical information. My suggestion is to not get impatient; sit and listen, you will be rewarded with a terrific story. You get the feeling that the narrator is leaning close to you, deliberately keeping his voice down, working his way into telling you an unbelievable story. This impression is helped greatly by the voice of the narrator. The voice of the narrator is excellent, in pacing, tone and cadence. Soft, low, like for a private conversation. The voice is clear and easily understandable, despite the soft intonation, he does not mumble. The narrator's voice suits the story very well, and brings it to life. This story, although it takes place later in the series, was an excellent introduction to the series. What did disturb me, however was the part were Jack and Roxy left Ken alone to face the master vampyre in his apartment. They were basically leaving him to die. What they should have been doing was staking out Ken's apartment to wait for the master vampire to attack Ken. They would have safe guarded Ken and maybe gotten a chance to kill the vampyre. While I can easily believe that Roxy would be cold enough to leave Ken to live or die as best he could, I don't believe it of Jack. I think that Jack would have been more caring. Ken, in the rest of the series, will become very close with these two characters, but it is a bit of a rough start.
Jerry, so glad you were pleased Roxy “beat” Tanya’s bite…if she had become a Mortis vampire it surely would have destroyed Jack, wouldn’t it? His love for her is evident. But now Roxy is totally out for revenge….for Tanya’s attack on her but also the near seduction of Jack. And Kenny’s got to worry about this bad ass Wojciech guy. Looks like a lot of adventures still ahead…..stay tuned…

Your work quality and output is amazing. I don't know how you do it. I see so many TH-camrs who don't have anywhere near your quality or output constantly say how they want to do more but it's so time consuming, yet you consistently blow them out the water in both. Please just don't burn yourself out. Take a break from time to time.

That story got me into Reditt’s No Sleep section and the You Tubers that have the ability to bring their work to the world with fabulous audible skills and dedication to what they love!! I have not had a cable or satellite service for television in over ten years. All because I can find such good stories and excellent persons with the skills to bring those worlds and stories to life. Then put them into a format that anyone can near freely listen to at their convenience!!! I did not know that some of these authors are actual published writers. If i knew of their work and if they write in any of the genres i read I would be sure to purchase any books they have written that i would possibly enjoy. I would do it simply to try and put some $$$ in their accounts for the work they freely do and work that they do not get much recognition from like the authors NT and V22 and others that write or allow these You Tubers to use their work.

Its been YEARS since ive been sucked (pun intended) into an excellent vamp story!!! At least REAL VAMPS and not halfassed wannabe sparkly vamps that like sun tans, drink blood from a pouch, or dont wanna hurt anyones feelings! Its been aa decade or more since ive been this involved in a vamp story! The author is damn good and Vidith22 is excellent at bringing a story to life!! Great job all the way around!!

I love the way the stories progress through the timelines, whether the regular OTTOTV stories or the others in the universe (Vampyre Tapes and Reluctant Vampyre Slayer). Since OTTOTV #1 ended with Jack in his 60's, we have a looong way to go!! And the fact he said we "had some losses along the way" seems to indicate not all his friends/teammates are going to make it. So much suspense!!
Was just relistening to this series again the other night and was wondering when the next installation would come. Can't wait to hear if it resolves that cliffhanger from Entry #3!

Love this story seen through the eyes of a new character; sheds a unique third party perspective on Jack and Roxy's relationship and their love and respect for each other. I knew Roxy was going to beat Tanya's bite! She's tough yet sensitive, no-nonsense yet emotional. Beautiful yet scarred. I applaud Skiller for the superb character development! And Viidith for his nonpareil narration. Stupendous! Can't wait for the next installment!!
