haha i’m aware. Some restaurants do say whether it’s vegan or not and it’s actually about 50% I’ve noticed. That is in Australia at least. I would always choose vegan if I can tell, if not well my eyes are shut. I already have negative comments about switching to vegan food, dropping wines is gonna drive them mad

She originates from Baotou, Mongolia originally. Since the pandemic, she lost both her elderly parents and now she is on her way to spend time with the rest of her family to spend time to honour her Mother and Father at the temple. Jayden, you're a legend mate and I'm very happy to have met you here. It just goes to show that what you want to be in life, although it may seem as one thing, that it extends into much more. Hi Jayden. I really need to make one comment here on the late night Macca's run. You guys really need to avoid the french fries. French fries are listed as the most dangerous food in the world by many doctors. I know your young & have a high metabolism, but all that grease & fat is really bad for cholesterol. I watched the video & I just couldn't let this one go without a comment. It was great to see you make excellent use of the QANTAS frequent Flyer points. I miss the Disney store at Hong Kong Airport.

Made me realise how close we are to pets. Literally we set no boundaries with them. They watch us shower, use the bathroom, sleep with us etc.

Nice video! Enjoyed the informative and smooth production quality as always. What do you mean by 'aisle window' and 'window window' seats? The cabin is not laid out in a 2-2-2 configuration, is it? If not why is there an 'aisle window' when you are sitting right beside the window? That's a point of confusion for me. I felt for business class standards the food was a bit skimpy honestly. However the food does look delicious though. Heck, I haven't flown business class before and I'm nitpicking on premium products! xD
haha perhaps I should’ve been clearer. It is 1-2-1 but the seats are staggered. So every alternative row you have the seat closer to the window, table closer to the aisle. Other ones like my seat- table closer to the window, seat closer to the aisle. Fly business or first whenever possible😂😂

Oh, so for some you are sitting right next to the window with the console on the right, and for your seat the console is on your left. I think multiple other airlines like Singapore Airlines or Turkish Airlines adopt this config.
the Qantas staff were def very friendly and helpful. your vegan meals looked yum, espesh the fresh fruit. my daughter doesnt eat meat any more, but she said shes not fully vegal because she loves cheese and eggs. lol. i think id prefer a seat right up next to the window, to look out, otherwise - why have a window seat. and if they moved everything closer to the window.. then there would be a bit more of a privacy gap before the isle. seeing your cat, was you in Sydney or south australia or was she staying in sydney with your friends. another great trip report :)

Got over all it😂 Definitely the seats right by the window are the best, but they are very popular and when I booked the trip 3 months prior, they were taken up already😩 She moved from Sydney to Adelaide for her new job! Now my full time housemate :)

Love the takeoff views and the sounds from the GE engines! Also, there appears to be some sparks at 21:51 when the engine is in reverse, any idea what really is that?
I would bid upgrade a reasonable price to business if possible. Usually start from $50 which includes lounge access but cheaper than walk in price of $60+ and only slightly more than economy x.
Good video Jayden, but I won't fly on an airline that charges premium fares to fly in a 17.5 year old plane. I'll take the better service, newer plane, generally cheaper fares and take SIA every time.
Just watch out though because while SIA serve one meal (a smaller meal on day flights too before landing) , Qantas and Cathay serve two full meals on Asia-Australia flights. SIA before covid better, now definitely not.

two more days until they make a come back to HK! I've always wanted to be a vegan but I couldn't quit eating meat. Wasn't at my healthiest and was always bloated. Problems solved now :)

@@JaydenWong Just out of curiosity that routes of your flight reports are interrupted. Like MEL-SIN and BKK-CGK for example but can’t find anything between SIN-BKK. Is that because you don’t provide reports on some routes due to repetitive or similar reports you have made before or there are some flights that you are not satisfied to provide a report for?
some guys who work at qantas replied to my story that day; airlines no longer responsible if the pax isn’t eligible for entry due to covid regulations, so like the fine goes to pax instead of airlines so they don’t care anymore😂
I think Qantas is some what losing the high price I tried to book from SYD to ADL and it was not to much. Who wants the virgin Australia a330 or 777 business class back!
Hi, I am a bit confused by the checked baggage allowance. I don't know how many baggages i can carry. I saw on google flights which said 2 baggages + 1 hand carry, but on QF official web , it didn't state.
I still take anti-COVID hygiene measures but won't travel to any country demanding expensive testing or isolation. There are enough countries getting the balance right. I like seeing airliners making it to old age. Good review.
You're like the fourth male vegan flight reviewer I've seen on YT. I feel like there's ironically a niche for non-vegan flight reviewers now, considering so many videos just show airlines' vegan options.
Would love to see reviews of gluten-free meals by flight reviewers. I hear some of the meals provided by airlines are abysmal (one banana, plain boiled rice, a glass of water). People with coeliac disease can still eat meat! It looks like ordering the vegan meal with no bread may be better than asking for gluten-free (just avoid the oat milk). If all the flight reviewers go vegan, I guess that opens up the YT market for reviewers who aren't. There are only so many reviews of 'fruit platter' that people will watch! 🤣
With Qantas the vegan option is available on the menu anyways so you don’t get it first per se. You could even say vegan food is one of the normal options onboard but that’s gonna hurt some people. On my domestic flight yesterday only vegetarian food was served. And nothing to do with Non stop dan Lol. It’s a trend now I guess. I have a few vegan friends myself and vegetarian family members too. We all have different reasons for doing it but I’m not getting into that. TBH myself and most that I know all are quite flexible ie we will try new food when we travel and even if it means breaking the rules of veganism or vegetarianism.
I have to say the Qantas international inflight service has improved dramatically.

In September on my holiday in Hong Kong from Philippines I saw a qantas a330 at night before I board CX105 to my home town / city Melbourne.
The Qantas video and broadcast was in Mandarin back in February 2023, but at least it's now playing the local (Cantonese) version again.

Just watch out though because while SIA serve one meal (a smaller meal on day flights too before landing) , Qantas and Cathay serve two full meals on Asia-Australia flights. SIA before covid better, now definitely not.
@@JaydenWong I agree that SIA has gone backwards since Covid, but not as far as Qantas. Do you really think that one extra airline meal makes up for the obvious deficit?

two more days until they make a come back to HK! I've always wanted to be a vegan but I couldn't quit eating meat. Wasn't at my healthiest and was always bloated. Problems solved now :)

@@JaydenWong Just out of curiosity that routes of your flight reports are interrupted. Like MEL-SIN and BKK-CGK for example but can’t find anything between SIN-BKK. Is that because you don’t provide reports on some routes due to repetitive or similar reports you have made before or there are some flights that you are not satisfied to provide a report for?

I was flying the same flight the day before you did, which was 5th March. But they didn’t ask me anything about covid test at all. Strange.
some guys who work at qantas replied to my story that day; airlines no longer responsible if the pax isn’t eligible for entry due to covid regulations, so like the fine goes to pax instead of airlines so they don’t care anymore😂
You really need to try Garuda. Prob head to Jakarta rather than Bali!

You're like the fourth male vegan flight reviewer I've seen on YT. I feel like there's ironically a niche for non-vegan flight reviewers now, considering so many videos just show airlines' vegan options.
Would love to see reviews of gluten-free meals by flight reviewers. I hear some of the meals provided by airlines are abysmal (one banana, plain boiled rice, a glass of water). People with coeliac disease can still eat meat!
It looks like ordering the vegan meal with no bread may be better than asking for gluten-free (just avoid the oat milk).
If all the flight reviewers go vegan, I guess that opens up the YT market for reviewers who aren't. There are only so many reviews of 'fruit platter' that people will watch!

With Qantas the vegan option is available on the menu anyways so you don’t get it first per se. You could even say vegan food is one of the normal options onboard but that’s gonna hurt some people. On my domestic flight yesterday only vegetarian food was served.
And nothing to do with Non stop dan Lol. It’s a trend now I guess. I have a few vegan friends myself and vegetarian family members too. We all have different reasons for doing it but I’m not getting into that. TBH myself and most that I know all are quite flexible ie we will try new food when we travel and even if it means breaking the rules of veganism or vegetarianism.
