Thank you 👍👍😊
You're welcome 😊
When you said “$1,500 per acre per year”, does that mean you’ll get paid $1,500 a year for i.e one acre? It would be more appealing if it was $1,500 per acre per month($18,000/yr). Or am I getting something wrong here?
It would be $1500 per acre per year (although this varies). I agree $1500 per acre per month would be more appealing!
@@GokceCapital thanks for your response! I received a packet in the mail from a solar company(TX) with a solar easement lease agreement(offer). I’m on a 15acre property and they’re inquiring a stretch of land on one side approximately 2.5acres. Not sure if it is worth it considering the +/- $1,500per. Any thoughts?
@@ocho27hd I’d say if you are not using the land then go for it! It would be a few extra thousand.
I would advise landowners to google solar farm mechanic liens.
If the solar company cant pay their bills the creditors will put mechanic liens against your land until its paid.
Can be many trasons why this can happen including solar power being uneconomical someday in the future. If fusion power comes out, say good bye to your land if your leasing it out to solar.
Thank you for sharing, this is a good point to keep in mind.
