We slept trained our two kids and it’s the best thing we’ve ever done for our kids! They weren’t great sleepers before sleep training but it literally is game changer! Not for everyone and not easy! But for us it was the best decision ever!

Babies need to cry, They need to excercise their lungs , Very important, These "sleep pro's" should KNOW this! But then again, the view of "professionals" has drastically declined in ALL areas, the last few years. Best of luck! Oh and turn of the noise maker, all these babies will not be able to sleep as adults.
