Hi everyone! I decided to take my first road trip across Europe with my new Tesla and bring my girlfriend along to Barcelona. In the process, I saved money on an airplane and taxi, and spend the rest of my free supercharger kilometers I got left.
The trip was long and exhausting. But using Autopilot it was somehow easier to pull it off. I decided to invest some time in finding free charging points on the way. Turned out to be useful on the way back.
Definitely learned a lot from this experience. Tesla SuC was so easy to use, can’t imagine traveling with another EV as I feel like I wouldn’t make it too far past Italy.

Tesla needs to expand the networtk to more places in Croatia and open it for others. Not so much for the sales of electric cars here but because of tourists.

There are 20 Suc (in total) planned for Croatia. 3 are coming just in Istra alone (Umag, Pula, Rijeka), ... they are opening their network, Croatia will be next in a year or two...

When traveling from Croatia to Italy, always put stop at the Kozina supercharger in Slovenia near Koper, because It is free! Trip from Zagreb to Istra is always free through Slovenia:)

can you manually start the preconditioning? how much does it take to precondition?
You can put navigation to a near SuC it takes maybe 15-20 min, car even start to precondition when your 30 min out

Elen (HEP) više nije besplatan, Petrol je besplatan sam u ZG do 1.6.besplatni su Lidl, Kayfland i Tommy u radnom vremenu.

I see it’s still not right time for electric cars. Waiting for times when charging time will be like 10 minutes to full charge and battery capacity like 800+ km. otherwise it’s really uncomfortable
You got multiple problems in order to get that. Why wait when you can enjoy EV today. You can always make short legs and charge 10-15 min.

the worst road trip video: no summary of kilometre, no summary of charging sessions, no summary of stops. Each stop was in your video the first super charger...😂. Real Documentary is like... 1st Stop in Italy after 400km with average speed of 120km/h with 8% SoC.....2st Stop in... after 390km.....
