I realize there is a cultural difference at work here, but how can you NOT show some sort of emotion after a performance like that? That's just humanistic basics.
Thanks for the comment. This was actually a senior recital/exam of mine in 12th grade. It was called a recital however it was regarded as a formal exam setting. Unfortunately, the cultural custom in China for a candidate that is, the candidate was supposed to act serious / respectful to the judges down the stage, and hence I didn't show any emotion for the performance. Hope you enjoy my playing.

A wonderful instrument can blow and suck ,like a harmonic but with a very unique sound .

In China I believe silence is a mark of great respect towards performances, so I'd say they all liked it.

+Mingji Gao 您好，我是演奏者。 持笙方式分两派：一派以胡天泉老师为例，右手中间三指在里面，小指在外面；而另一派以张之良老师为例，右手仅食指在里面，剩下三指在外面。 这仅为持笙方式，与笙的簧数无直接关系。而视频的笙是星海音乐学院杨龙华教授研发的22簧传统笙。
+Allen Ong 十七簧笙在音域上有一定限制，可以用来摸索这首歌，但因为音域因素在某些乐段需要翻八度，所以会影响实际演奏效果。但当然如果用作练习目而言，也不失为是一个对曲目认识的初步涉猎。
