This is a completely different "thing" from what I've been reacting to. And again, this is just a guy I admire and think is quite talented...not a reaction. Just figure, as music lovers, exposure to different musicians could be interesting from time to time.
Stay tuned for our regularly scheduled reactions :) I have plenty to get through and the list keeps growing.

Thank you for watching. Figured it'd be fun to share some other artists on occasion. I have a few other ones I'll be shouting out periodically mixed in 😊.

I really liked it! I have always listened to a very broad range of different genres of music and I will be definitely checking out more of his music. Thanks for showing his video.

Thanks for this! I don't yet have a sense of it, I feel like I'll need to listen to it a couple more times - so I'll come back and do that. I do like the overall sound..... I'm clear on that.

If you listen to a snippet of the original by N-Trance, and even Sam's original version of his remake (link in the description for this one), you can get a sense for how he transformed this. The original is super upbeat and more in line with dancehall music (from like 26 years ago). It's a completely happy feel....a stark contrast to this.

I discovered Sam a few months ago. His song Tiny Riot is amazing and I love his soulful voice.
I would like to know what you think about Loïc Nottet, a singer and dancer from Belgium. His most popular song is "Million Eyes": th-cam.com/video/68EnJITH-5Q/w-d-xo.html

Did I hear you say that Sam is Australian? He is English in fact. Represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Nice! If I may say something and with all respect, I didn't hear vocal fry. I believe it was a growl.

Meh...can't argue that. In my head I was going for raspy...gritty...basically any other adjective than the one I said lol.

@@JDubReacts I struggle with words all the time! Being a non english speaker combined with ageing...😳 I sometimes don't say anything at the end and sometimes I'm giving it a go hoping that what I say makes sense 😅

I can sympathize there. Heck, even with English being my language, as I've been working on adding subtitles, I've come across a few things I've said in my videos I can't even understand....and I'm the one that said it originally lmao 🤣. So for that I apologize to you and anyone else that struggles to understand me 😊.
