Don't misunderstand this was one of the greatest 1v1 in history.

hey may have a really good gaming chair, but tsutoumo *has a better one.*
I’m happy he don’t have a good gameing chair
This sounds like L tracking down Kira in Death Note.
Sorry, it's been 15 years since I've watched Death Note. I changed it to the right ones. Thanks
Yeeeeee
thats what i thought as well lol
lol fr
More like Near, seeing how Light killed L.
Interesting! Didn’t think the most dangerous hackers first name was Kevin
I knew there was something wrong with that name
Why do people comment stuff like this? Wtf is a hackers name supposed to be

He has a book called Ghost In the Wire. Highly recommend it. This guy was beyond genius. For example, he talks about how he tracked the feds tracking him by seeing where their phones were connecting. Very fun read, you don’t have to be into technology.
Not that hard to do to trace ips etc lol
U look like a hacker
@@JoseRamos-mv2ty yeh lol
Great book read it about 6 years ago
@Swavy Sora Right but what tactics/software/hardware was used to find which IPs/MACs belonged to the feds phones? Edit: Nevermind it looks like he was pretty accomplished using social engineering techniques
He makes 1.5M a year as a consultant now and his business cards are metal containing punch-out lock picking tools
While others might argue that Kevin was a nefarious hacker ... I'd say he just took advantage of vulnerabilities and paved room for improvement in cyber-security.
"And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling cops and TSUTOMU SHIMOMURA" 👻✨
this feels like death note all over again
😭
If kira existed today he'd get caught instantly
Deadass was thinking that wtf💀😭
@@posty9233 and? might there be anything wrong with me thinking this?

Evil succeeds when the good do nothing. Great job Shimamora.
Exactly, a good reason why people need to vote and stand up against things like fascism.

How they actually got him: his mom shut his computer and go told him to go touch some grass
Ghost in the wires is a great book about mitnicks escapades
he got caught because he didn't use nord vpn, the sponsor of this vid-
Kevin Mitnick now has a really cool security consulting firm where he goes over social engineering and other things. His business cards are also lockpicks which is awesome
This would make a good anime series man, literally some of the most intense confrontations ever. Both dudes have polarising personality too.
Season 2 would be to find the unknown associate
I like how the thumbnails are deep detail, but the actual show is a cartoon 🌠
How cool it must be to be a hacker that hacks an hacker's account which was hacked by a hacker
It’s cool that mitnick now uses his skills for good
They should make a movie. The storyline’s so brilliant.
Now we wait for like 9-12 years when everyone finds this video at 3AM for no reason
As a resident of Raleigh, NC, how the host pronounces Raleigh is hilarious, lol. Close enough, I guess, lol.
I shuddered every single time. Lol
Growing up 20 minutes from Raleigh and then going to college in Canada and hearing it said like this every time NC is brought up cracks me up
@@am-wt3gl When I lived in Wisconsin for a while I had to explain every "weird" Southern thing I'd say. "I'm fixin' to go up down to the store, yall need anything?" "What are you going to do?" "Do you wanting from the grocery store...."
I'm in Mayberry myself, and came to the comments to say something about it too, lol.
Rah-Lee, come on, man...
As a person who isn't from America, just from reading the word, I would pronounce it the same way
No matter how careful you be, we all are vulnerable
he should have used incognito window
Hecker would easily track Kevin down in matters of secs,he as the most broken hacks around.

Mitnick was one of the first social engineers as well as a hacker. Now a computer security consultant.
And also a bit of an egomaniac. Dude really fell off unfortunately.
2:20 that's called social engineering
This should be a movie, but the end call should be badass
its so iteresting how we can do these things ..
everything is pretty much a Challenge .

Now for the rest of the story. Mitnick eventually was released after helping the FBI with other stuff.
Every time they said Raleigh I died alittle
You kept saying Rally NC lol
The infographics Show: he's the most dangerous hacker
Me who hid a .exe file that leads you straight to a rickroll in a picture: Pathetic
I don’t know why but this is like Kira Vs. L in Death Note lol
Hack-ception:
I'm a hacker who hacked a hacker who hacked me.
I love watching these kinds of videos. I am an Infographics Show fan, BTW.
I used to believe that Kevin Mitnick was the Kevin from home alone 😆
Um, lets be real here. Got to respect him for doing what he did for so long but let's not forget that Hackers always will work together for common goal! Just saying his data is still out there on dark web and anyone can use it! His "associate" wasn't an employee of his, he was a client that paid for information and tried to utilize it is all!
I admire Kevin Mitnick He is cool!

I hate hackers so much. If they target you and you’re a Neanderthal with tech like me… you’re just F’d in the A
I thought neo from the matrix was the most dangerous hacker
They could make this into a movie
They did.
This should be a movie or a series.
Wow, I was not expecting that
Dude was so smart and fair this is what gaming should bei like
They need to make a movie about this
What Kevin did is called social engineering and it is a ridiculously common tactic that hackers use to breach a system definitely not unique lol. It's no different from when your less than computer literate relative gets a cold call from "Mark" from "Microsoft Tech Support" about the "hundreds of Viruses" on their computer and the relative just needs to give them access so they can "fix" it.
Social Engineering is a "ridiculous common tactic" because of Mitnick. He is the one that brought so many of the con artist tricks to the hacking community.
Thank you, now i know how to be a successful hacker!
Good thing Kevin wasn't an intelligent sadistic killer unlike someone he would be able to find any of his escaped victims
Please do the Rats of Tobruk story at some point regarding the Australian soldiers in WW2! It's so interesting, and I know you guys would do a great job!
That guy need President level security right now
When the Most Dangerous Hacker is finally Caught
Gamers:FRRRRREEEEEEEEEEDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!
December 1994, and Internet?
Cell phones back then? Back then were bricks, not the cell phones.
How much data he could have send through internet those days? With the speed and content availability... Downloading a single gif back then took as much time as we need now to download whole season of a TV-series.
Imagine being the guy doing the white hat hacking…. “Oh hey, let me get the “bad guys” for no money! I’ll get all the chicks, right?”
Mitnick is the reason i got into cyber security
Imagine playing your favorite game and a hacker joins but theres another hacker that bullies the hacker and leaves after the hacker is gone its a win-win
That hacker must have got 100% in his computer classes
Infographics Show never disappoints
So what, the other dude associated with him just peaced out without anyone trynna pursue him?
This thumbnail got me here
this stuff always interests me
This is like Death Note but for hackers
They haven't caught me yet. I'm not a hacker or a criminal but my point still stands.
Facts 😭
I clicked on the video automatically (because I love the Infographics Show and don't even care what the subject is) and im just eating my lunch while listening.. tell me why I was genuinely confused as the the city in NC that was being referenced because I'm from the south and my brain wouldn't accept that not everyone pronounces Raleigh the same way 😂 (Rah-lee as opposed to rally)
Funny enough, in the UK we have a place called Rayleigh. Which we pronounce Ray-Lee 😂 so funny how we all pronounce things differently
same, ig its better than siri used to say it (ra-ha-lee)
No doubt about Hecker being a much greater hacker.
The most dangerous hackers is the ones you don't know about
Kids realizing that hacking isnt cheating:
Adults realizing that their children call randos hackers:
This is the closest thing that well get to L hunting down Light in death note
You know the worlds most dangerous hacker is also one of the worlds smartest people
Can you include names and relevant details in your descriptions please? Makes the video easier to find.
You ought to do one on Capt Crunch, John Draper
How come they didn't bother tracking down the associate on the voicemails?
This was a great story.
Scammer:hacker chad our battle will be legendary
If John Wick was a cyber security expert
I love how they made him look like a demon or something scary on the thumbnail 😂, I was scared to click the video.
This reminds me soooo much of Light vs L

the hackerman meme format fits well for this video lol
The greatest still hasn’t been caught
2:19 "He would pose as somebody in the real world to get their info." Thats Social social engineering

The way you say Raleigh made me feel very uncomfortable.

It bothered me how he said Raleigh😂 I’ve only ever heard it pronounced (Ra-lee)
You spelled it wrong it’s not hacker it’s hecker
