This man recognized his gift from God, and did not forsake it, while sharing it with the rest of humanity. He appreciated it and applied it to the person he was destined to become without regret. As he received, he gave to show the rest of the world we all have a gift from God to use, to apply, and share with selflessness.

Kobe always talked so poetically about the way he worked. About the way, he put his blood, sweat, and tears into this game. He played basketball, not for the money, not the fame, but just because he loved basketball. He loved it so much that he would push his body to the limits to give the game everything he got. I was never a basketball player but I know what it means to be an athlete. What it means to love a sport so much that no matter how much it hurts you, no matter how much pain you endure you give it all you got. When he made Dear Basketball; it brought tears to my eyes. It showed that he loved the sport for the sport and nothing more. "You asked for my hustle, I gave you my heart". That was it. Those words keep me going to chase my dream. It reminds me to give everything I got into whatever I do in life. I loved Kobe. Not as a fan, or a friend, or an admirer, but as a fellow grinder. someone who could never let anyone work harder than him. Kobe is the reason I am who I am. Life cannot be forever. It just doesn't work that way. But Kobe. He will forever be infinite. In the walls of the staple center, the murals in downtown LA, and in every kid shooting something into a trash can. Kobe Bean Bryant... Thank you for every championship, every game, every shot. Cause in every single one you showed me what it's like to be a champion. A winner.

I like the tribute Stephen could have kept his personal feelings out of it but other than that it was a real good tribute

Disgusting how they are trying to throw shade at Kyrie while honoring/remembering Kobe. Way to disrespect both players…

It's crazy how when I tried out for the JV team, I got to wear his number and keep it until my senior year. I always practiced your in game moves no matter if it was in practice or a game. You pushed me to be my best at anything I set my mind too. Thank you, Kobe, for everything and setting examples that nothing is given, that everything is earned.
