- I'm not gonna beat around the bush: I think this fight is atrocious in every conceivable way.
Having Buff Chance Down as a permanent, unremovable effect, only mitigated by using a specific NPC Summon that is not a good match for this fight, is frustrating beyond belief and turns everything into an RNG-filled nightmare. Furthermore, you have barely any budget options for Demonic Beast servants (Asterios and Red Hare are just about all you've got to work with). Worst of all is that the damage CE is locked to the gacha. Incredibly frustrating design and blatant P2W-tactics.
I just ended up throwing Ibuki at it until it worked out. She's tanky and hits hard, and that seemed to work.
Just to be clear: this is not the hardest fight in the game, not by a long shot. It's just the most frustrating one, and it feels really scummy. I truly despise this fight.
That said, I didn't have a whole lot of time to experiment and work out alternative tactics 'cause I was out of the country for almost this entire event, so I had to rush this somewhat. I wish I coulda had more time to work things out, but whatever, it's done, and I won't have to think about this travesty ever again, hopefully. - เกม
Im so glad they never did a damage CE locked to gacha after this... one of the crappiest decisions ever
So, I did a test run before deciding what I wanted to actually do with this one.
All I had was Asterios, Mash (Who died immediately, I didn't even use the Habe effect) and Nikitich.
That just worked pretty nicely, it turns out.
I fully agree with this fight being stupid. I ended up using a backline Tam to be my final DPS. I'm sure she could solo it but I couldn't be fucked to run it over and over.
I used vritra and the rest was all supports, she carried me all the way to final bar and destroyed both last mobs. man that ruler destroyed my party, reading issues i guess.... good thing i had support ibuki as last servant, she finished the last bar
Hey boss we heard you like getting your Gandrs guarded so we made it a mechanic.
Maybe u should retry this with ibuki solo with mash and chen gong Frontline only, ironically with ur allies gone ibuki can survive rather decently and have access to all her cards, with anni blonde u will also have 2 guts u can use for survival, it should last long enough ibuki to survive though the debuffs in the final wave
The irony is that you made the fight harder by not just using npc ibuki.
Pretty much all the npc can solo the fight.
Well not sure about wang, but the 2 others can 100% do it for sure.
