Hello brother, May i ask what kind of strings do you use for the nylon strings? And what guage? Which tension? What is the tuning and what is the size of rubab?
Hello Brother, of course! I use "Nylgut" lute strings by Aquila, these are synthetic gut strings. The gauges are: 1,00 mm, 0,76 mm and 0,58 mm. The tuning is Bb - Eb - Ab. This is a rather low tuning, I normally tune to C - F - Bb. The vibrating string length of the Rabab is 69 cm, the instrument is about 90 cm long.
