Underwater Metal Detecting a WATERFALL - I Found an iPhone, Rings, Pocket Knife (Phone Returned!!!)

- WOW, this is BY FAR my favorite River Treasure dive so far. While scuba diving in an Arizona Waterfall with my metal detector, I found lots of amazing treasures, including a nice Pocket Knife, 2 Rings, Sunglasses, some Coins, and a WORKING iPhone 6s PLUS in a Waterproof Pouch (lost for 9 months, and still worked!). I was able to contact the owner and return the phone. His reaction was priceless, he was so thrilled to have his phone back in perfect condition after missing it for 9 long months!!! The Owner "Prince Ahmed" (as his friends call him) treated all 4 of the MAN + RIVER crew to dinner!

Im sure its tempting for anyone, but what would u do with it otherwise? It may work, but it probably needs 2 be repaired (several days without the phone, $$$ cost), plus it may have been reported as lost /stolen, and the police may flag it once its working or sent in for repair. The worst thing to do, is to take a device that isn't yours, better to spend an extra few dollars to get a new one☺️👍🧡

I often find returning an item FAR more pleasurable than keeping it... The owners reaction is always priceless and that memory will make you smile forever.

The best part for the owner isn't so much he got the phone back (because he obviously replaced it)... it's that he's got such a cool story to tell all his family and friends - with this video as proof :)
I love how he squeals when he found something new! The whole video is so awesome! It helps recycle all those stuffs being buried underwater therefore helping nature. I also suddenly wanted to do what you did there.

Ella X it was probably a Magellan one because I have one that looks identical and I got it from Academy for like $7 and it works perfectly
It’s not a case, you just put it into that carrier when you’re going kayaking or near the water and it keeps it shut tight so water doesn’t get into it
It’s a thing you put it in which keeps it safe, you can usually buy them at water parks or anywhere with summer stuff
Ella X Its a Joto brand waterproof phone pouch which can be purchased on amazon for about $8. I have the exact same one and I use it at the river or when I kayak. It’s totally watertight :)
