    Good Lord! I looked like a drunk monkey having seizures trying to put these together! At age 69 with very bad hands, they did not snap together. I have issues with coordination... I have none. Does that guy in the video make house calls? Definitely a two-person job and well worth a 3rd to video the circus. The rubber mallet was a must, pliers to squeeze while using the mallet worked well. The girls best appreciate this! I think they will love their new homes. Ma 2 heard you laughing!

    This video is timeless. I ordered your starter kit and was told today being Saturday it should arrive. I'm still waiting for my 50 eggs to place in the incubator I had earlier purchased. I am investing into Hatching Time because I want to do the right thing and have the most success in our upcoming raising Quail for meat and eggs here on our Tennessean Homestead. Blessings,Wayne

    This video remind me of when you google how to fix your car. And the videos always say just unscrew this one bolt and it'll come right out.
    Because this is litterally how putting this cage together is going

    Just offering a little advice... Not sure if this is covered in the video but I don't recall hearing it... Don't freak out if your water system doesn't work right away, you need to release a lot of the air trapped in the pipes for it to get all the way over to the far waterers. And you'll need a decent amount of water in the bin to give it the pressure to get there initially.

    I just want to let everyone know that tonight while building my friends cage, the instruction manual shows the black legs smooth side on the OUTSIDE. but in order for them to snap into each other while building the cage layers on top of each other, the legs need to be smooth side IN. so the screw is flush with the cage. We had to watch numerous videos and strip all of the screws back out. Resulting in damage to each leg. Again; BLACK LEGS SMOOTH SIDE TOUCHING THE CAGE. Gaps on the legs facing OUTWARD. since the instructions have no words and show the opposite. Thanks everyone. 👋🏻

      We do our best to provide helpful information with printed instructions, and assembly videos and
      we are very sorry for the trouble you had with putting the cage togther. It is correct to have the side struts on with the flat side next to the cage wall. Thanks for sharing the information.

    I cannot get the walls to connect it will not snap in

    • @HatchingTime
      @HatchingTime  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you applying pressure? The pegs should snap in easily. Please make sure each pet is alternating. When attaching the middle walls.
      Sometime a rubber mallet is needed for extra pressure?
      We will be in the office at 9am on Monday if you need a phone call. (800) 511-1369.

      @jcsawabe1 Thanks for the comment. The Quail Cage - 1Section (single) and the Quail Cage - 2 Section (double) are great cages. However, they do lack the sliding removable manure tray, pictured in this video. This Quail Cage - 5 Layer is an amazing system that makes cleaning, easy and quick! If the product arrives with any broken pieces, please contact us immediately at (800) 511-1369. We take pride in our product and want the best experience for our customers.

    A lot of my side walls are not snapping in properly. A couple of them I worked on for probably 40 minutes each and still can't get them to snap in right. If I get 1 end in, the other end pops back out. It's like they're warped or something. Even if the pegs go in, they don't stay in, they just pop back out.

    • @HatchingTime
      @HatchingTime  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh gosh! Did you try using a rubber mallet to ensure the pegs are fully in the holes? Applying downward pressure from the middle when adding the walls also helps. If both of those solutions don’t work, we will be in the office on Monday morning and can take your call to walk you through more helpful tips and tricks.

      I found that using a pair of pliers to pinch the pegs into the holes worked better than a mallet. Start at the back and work forward.

    The side struts are causing me issues, I can't get the screws fully in - they either get stuck tight in the molleys half way in or the rod starts turning on the second strut once it's been threaded through the cage and I can't grip it hard enough to stop it turning. Don't know what to do to complete my rack as I can't stack it with screws sticking out :(
