This was written in the aftermath of my frustration when trying to beat this game before, I beat Sans but the Asgore and Flowey fight really pushed my buttons so I cheated to get past it. Also, by commenting that, you're kind of missing the point of the video. It's about how the game triggers YOU, the PLAYERS, especially those who have tried to beat this for so long and still can't.

But I didn't really get that frustrated I couldn't beat it because I took they were powerful enough to make me give up. I hate how, you can say that Legacy Last Breath is better than Renewed, and people can agree with you, all because it's a more balanced and fair game, with cutscene skips, and there's not too much RNG on the way of doing no-hits. Renewed has many good things, ultimately lost due to all of the horrible balance issues, and not tested aspects of it.
And... Not ideal creator, seriously when your fangame is basically built on RNG and all problems of it you just say "skill issue lol" and dont fix anything you cant expect fangame to be good
the point is to NOT be all crazy detailed in phase 1, the sprite being the same as normal is to make it look like it could be in undertale, alot of the mechanic takes are fax, flowey's "thorny tentacles" are vines with thorns. But overall, complete fax

Also you didnt mention multiple fake final attacks in phase 3(blue bone spam while music goes down).

Sil is right in absolutely everything here. It's difficult at most times, and heavily relies on rng and just.... rng like 80% of the time. No-hitting took forever, but in one run will never happen. And recording it is near impossible as well, as it is a super detailed engine.
Now don’t get me wrong, I agree, the classic sans sprite is cool, the music is a banger, the lasers on phase 1 are cool, but AUGH the BALANCE of the game, Absolute. Pain.

From just how raw it is, and how entertaining as well - a great video all around! I also wanted to come here and hint that there is a secret left to be found, regarding the save file. Which you can only do after beating Asgore & Flowey(?), and I really want to see if it's actually in the game. (You probably want to make a duplicate of the save before measing around - if you mess around, but yeah.) I did the sprite art for this, by the way.
the only thing that didnt change was sans sprites and i like it that way because its not using some over the top pixel art and because it stays true to tobys style
tbh i think no heals phase 3 was a good idea. in the original LB the heals made the third phase too easy. the main problem stems from rng attacks and phase 2 for this game tho. Not to mention the creator telling someone to get better instead of nerfing it.

It's literally just last breath but harder. So in my opinion. Better. Does that make me naive? Maybe. But it's how I see it. If you can't beat it. Just watch someone beat it. If you can beat it. I beat sans, and I was 5 seconds off beating Asgore... he is such a pain lol. I will beat asgore eventually. I agree with a lot of this video but there's a couple things I don't: Sans having the original sprite is fine as phase two and three are based on the original sprite of sans, the anti - climatic end to phase one? You didn't show the end of phase one. The items not being restored is fine imo. The heeling attacks being hard is fine imo. The mercy thing... idk what you are on about lol. No heals in phase 3 is cool imo. The destroyed hall was cool imo. But yeah, a lot of the issues you mentioned were bad e.g 2:49 lol.

For 2:51 and 2:56 while very stupid (minus the Mercy button) I think you forgot how Sans is fighting you. He’s not trying to permanently get rid of Frisk most of the time, since he knows that won’t work. His fight style is to be as infuriating to fight against as possible so the player gives up. He’s not fighting to win, he’s fighting so the player gets tired of losing and gives up.
ULB Renewed not having [UNOFFICIAL] in the name is destroying the reputation of ULB original. People see a bad remaster and think. “How could the ULBT make something THIS BAD”. CraKed Wolf made an ok fan game into something everyone laughs at. The sprites weren’t made to look like undertale, they were made because this small child was too lazy to draw a bone boy.
