- I’ve been watching your videos for years, never miss them. Your to do list reminds me of the act of a guy spinning plates on wooden rods. Keeps them all spinning. Your to do projects are more than one man can handle….now wine making? Not to mention dairy cattle, ceramic shop, garden and not so far away wood boiler, cooking, tent chores, half completed new apartment build, fishing trailer … wow! Wishing the hardest working guy the best. You are super, really you are😊
I wish I had your energy! The turkeys are adorable! They got so big so fast! The garden looks fantastic! Love the peas! Looking forward to seeing the cows! What a beautiful farm you both have!
Joe, I live in south Alabama, we have horrible wasp problems in summer. We just mix some dawn and water real soapy and spray the wasp nest. It works every time
I tell you Joe not many guys left that will work as hard as you do all day and you never do stuff half ass it's always done just like it's supposed to be nowadays you get a lot of people that look at it and say oh that'll be okay, not you if it's not level it will be by the time you leave for the day, congratulations to your mom and dad Joe great people, take care stay safe, appreciate you.
Getting all ready for the Hamburgers on the Hoof to be picked up. Looks great Joe. Got a lot done around there and the garden is providing some great foods and more to come. Stay safe and keep up the great videos and fun you all have making them. Fred.
Hey joe how is green acres coming along . Joking. It's going too be hot again. Your place looks nice and green. Up here everything is turning brown. Oh well take care Joe and Melissa. ❤❤
Joe you’re probably aware that dish soap and water mixed together in a large drinking glass 32 oz. Wait until the bees settle on the nest. Then douse the nest and bees with the soapy water. This will kill them on contact. The soap smothers them, no O2. I’ve found that the douse method is best. Putting the mixture in a sprayer isn’t as effective. I’ve killed several swarms this way. The soapy mixture doesn’t work as well on other flying pest ( wasps, yellow jackets, bumblebees). The best thing it’s cheap and effective!
For wasps hornets or undesirables. A small hand pump sprayer with some commercial grade white vinegar, salt, liquid dish soap and some bleach will kills those nest dead FAST. Works on invasive plants too. Will smell a bit but a good rain or a hose will eliminate that fast.
Joe in shorts?...that is a rare sighting...lol. I take it by now you're fully recovered from your surgery because you've been working your butt off in these last few videos.
Hey Joe like your video, turning the place into a full fledge farm!! Looking good. Might look at spraying the grass/weeds under the hot wire with some roundup, it would knock down the amount of weed eating you will have to do.
You think it's humid there, you aught to come down to Georgia and experience it. No comparison - mid 90's and humid. The one the only Trent Gunnell. Peace and God bless!
Love ya Joe , but u killed me using that level for a tamper. My dad would have killed me. Like everybody else I don’t know where u get your energy. How’s the hernia healing. Sure enjoy the videos , keep them coming.
I want to leave that there. The way our property is set up, if the cows got out of the new fenced in area, the only way they could get off our property is down the driveway. The perimeter is either fenced (years and years ago) or the deep ditches have water in them along the roads that run on two sides of the property. The cows would have to be dead set on getting away for some reason to leave the property. If we see they are out, I can shut the driveway gate and there is a 99% chance that they are just dicking around somewhere in the woods.
Take that pork roast at 201degrees. Wrap it in Alum Foil. Drop it in a cooler and cover with old towels. The next day the bones will fall out and you will have plenty of pork butt to put in the freezer!
You e got a lot going on, for sure, what about Melissa’s bees? Does she still work with them,? You have so much going on, just wonder if you can handle it all, it’s harder as we get older, I know I’m 70 next year, my theory I’stake on what you want not what you wish you can, on that note, be happy! 😉
I have made maple sugar in a sauce pan on the stove and yes, we made maple sugar using the freeze dryer. They are really two different products, but yes we have.
WHAT ! In your T-Shirt and Underwear ? That is TMI. Are you going to fix the dent in the left back fender of the white truck? Looking at the bottom of the grey truck, rust is a problem in your area as for vehicles.
I don't know, I just click the button and it renders the clips into a watchable video on multiple formats. It takes a lot of the computers resources to do it, that's why my laptop costed 5 grand, it has enough power to do it.
@@NorthernSeclusion Joe I am sorry to see that you have taken yourself down to Geoff’s level. You are much better than him and do not need to use expletives to show it. Just block him as he is a waste of your time and energy (which I am glad to say you have a lot of). Hope you and Melissa have a great weekend.

Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing the cows arrive.
I’ve been watching both channels for a good while. I think I can count the number of times Joe wears shorts on one hand
That reel in the ice chest you rigged is genius
Your videos are very therapeutic… I don’t like yard work but love watching people do them 😊😊😊
I love your veggie garden Joe. It is always picture perfect and neatly manicured. I wish I had your boundless energy!!
All those peas has me craving ham and pea salad.
May the lord bless and protect you working on the homestead
👍👍
What an amazing garden. Your Dad might be the master of woodworking, but you definitely are our master gardener! 😊😊😊
Freshly shucked raw peas is one of the best parts of summer. They taste soooooo good.
Can't wait for the next video, thanks joe

Blessings Joe because you do work hard on that beautiful property! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯
Today was not so hot it only got to 95 degrees and real feel was 104 in W.Virginia. Waiting for a little cooler weather but not cold or snow 😊
nice garden already picking peas. that tells you itis going well.
You are Superman! 60 years, wow! Congratulations to them!
I live in Memphis Tennessee and the departure was 97 and it felt like 108. I wish it was 86 here because that's cold.😂😂😂
Love these videos, haven't missed one yet!!!

Really enjoyed watching 👍👍
I just love your old tractor. I need one
The garden looks great, You should raffle off some freeze dried veggies :)
Dang Joe, That's a lot of snap peas 😂 I planted a few but they're not growing very well this year. I guess I need to plant MORE 😂. Beautiful garden!

Wow your killing it man awesome
Love your tamping tool. 😜

Or down to Texas
Or to Tennessee. Humidity 86% yesterday 🔥
Live 5 miles from Georgia line. Know the further south you go the worse it gets. Got family in Savannah. They are suffering as well.
@@charlesscharer8845 no doubt!
Great video. The garden looks amazing. You ever thought about hiring a part time teenage helper to assist with some of the projects?
Hopefully you get a water heater for the Water trough. For the winter in your area.
We already have one.
Can’t wait for the upcoming movie…The Great Escape starring the cows…lol.
👍great video
Joe in shorts? I just took my temperature, make sure that was real 😂
Don't think I ever seen a carpenter use a level to tap dirt around a post.
Rubber bands are cheaper than a hair cut. How about sporting a tail? You sure do have beautiful hair Joe!
Thanks Joe.
I never thought I’d see Joe in crocks 😂
waiting for the video burning that big brush pile
Yea!
Are you sure that buggy ain't a diesel 😂 and that wind.

Make sure you look at the instructions with your new gate purchase.
❤❤
You might need to brace those posts you're going to hang large gates on, if not the posts will move and leave the gate hard to open.
You should contact any zoos in your area and see if they could use those weeds or anything extra from your garden.
Woohoo!
Could you use the gate at the end of your driveway for one of the pasture gates? Not sure I’ve ever seen that one closed.
I want to leave that there. The way our property is set up, if the cows got out of the new fenced in area, the only way they could get off our property is down the driveway. That knot is called a timber hitch very useful, food for thought?...

you can make a lot of split pea soup

I am 71 and the body does slow down. I notice my hand strength is not as I want it to be. Happy and thankful to still be alive.
Yep, dairy cows , you know that old saying . Buy a milk cow, and you'll go nowhere, but the barn !!! 😊
That is a real good place for beas😢to make a perm😢home. If they tangle with the cows they might end up 10 miles away from their new home.
Is that person ever going to come get the 5th wheel RV?
We never had the 5th wheel for sale. We do not want to sell it, its beautiful inside.
@@NorthernSeclusion. They mean your work camper
Another great video Joe, but it’s time to cut your hair lol!!
Actually the hair looks cool..he looks much younger.😊
Joe, do you have a source of winter hay for the cows ?
At the end of his last video he tells us all about the hay.
I talked about it in the last video and I talked about it in THIS video.
Would your fowl friends eat the weeds you pulled?
If you don't work, don't complain
You ever tired your maple syrup in the freez dryer so to make maple sugar?
I have made maple sugar in a sauce pan on the stove and yes, we made maple sugar using the freeze dryer. They are really two different products, but yes we have.
Custom level tamper, right ha
It can't touch the grass, grass is ground, it will arc out
You don’t want mad cow BEES
WHAT ! In your T-Shirt and Underwear ? That is TMI.

Green beans are way better for you
