- Here we have the new edition to the Cardigan Bay fleet. this will be used like the old open boat I used to have. I will be doing inshore fishing mainly on lures after those bass and will get some pots fishing again, just like before. I really cant wait. The nab 17 restoration / rebuild is still going ahead so please don't worry this boat is just to nip out on those early mornings.

Thanks sloth. Ye it's good on the outside all. Originally gel coat. Inside is a bit tatty but I'm not worried it will be covered in scales and pot scratches in no time 😂

Thanks simon. Been desperate to get back out and make some videos, it will be like the old days on my oter open boat. Will use this along side getting the other one ready then I may sell this. Will see what it's like might keep both this is perfect to nip out for bass and do a few pots. Would also like to teach my son who is now 17 and let him loose on it once he is safe and knows what's what
My boy is 14. I’m a power boat instructor and when he was 12 I taught him the pb2 syllabus in our RIB but sent him to another school for the course so he didn’t think it was just going to be given to him.
He’s now the helm for our local sailing club on the clubs safety boat. Obviously he has experienced crew on board to deal with the rescue side of things but he will put that boat exactly where they want it.
There’s nothing more satisfying than being able to pass the skills we have on to young people.
@simonread06 hopefully my lad enjoys it and picks it up well. I have a commercial endorsed day skipper and skipper a local charter boat. Not sure my son would want to go that far but only time will tell

Hopefully it plows through the seas no problem. Just got an engine on it now too I'm so close to getting put hopefully be out within next week or two

Yes lots of times 😂😂😂 I just wait till I'm home. Some of my mates go in buckets and others hang off the back of the boat 😂😂
