The Hobbit: Misty Mountains Cold harp cover - Remastered audio version!

This is an arrangement I made of the beautiful melody from The Hobbit, and it is a blend between Misty Mountains Cold, sung by the dwarves in the film, and Song of the Lonely Mountain by Neil Finn. I had to record the video in two parts because of short memory card space, but I hope they are blended nicely even still.

Apart from your entrancing playing (and singing in some videos which is just as good), I love the atmosphere you're creating in your videos. It takes a special person to collect all this magical stuff and arrange the room like this and yourself just for a video. It shows you really put your heart into this, and I find it very inspiring.
Thank you so much ^_^ Actually, I didn't decorate this way just for the videos, this is how my house normally looks :D I just love surrounding myself with leaves, swirly things, forest creatures and other bits and pieces that reminds me of nature. I've got ivy hanging from the ceiling and crystals on every shelf, mushrooms and pumpkins pop up everywhere and there are probably too many owls and hedgehogs in here... It's just who I am ^^ That said, I do put my heart and soul into everything I do, and especially my music.
That's so cool :) Please keep on doing these cool things for other people to be inspired :)

That looks like an elven harp! And you look like a elven princess! This is easily my favorite cover of this song that I heard. I’ve been taking harp lessons. Hopefully soon I’ll be using all four fingers on both hands. 😢only up to three fingers and trying to actually play On Tempo with my notes. But this is like a fantasy dream

Nice arrangement! What harp is this? It looks like a usual pedal-harp, but do you have levers on it?
Thank you! This is a 40-string lever harp from Webster harps (sadly no longer in business). It is made to look and sound like a small pedal harp, but with levers instead of pedals.

Thank you! This is a Webster 40 string lever harp, the model is called Laurel Leaf.

No, I had a wonderful teacher! ^_^ I absolutely recommend finding a teacher so that you avoid bad learning habits and potentially injuring your wrists or hands by using the wrong technique!
