I think what they mean by colourful but bland is that in the games without a second screen, theres a lot of unused space, personally it doesnt bother me but personally it doesnt bother me aha
I like how you don't sacrifice your pokemon often. Most in nuzlocke's do that unnecessarily during big fights.
