Mam pls help me. Health informatics versus health analytics after bds? Which will be less difficult to study and more salary friendly outside India. Also can u become a health informatist after learning health data science
Both have good scope, it depends on what you are comfortable working with. Health Informatics in most cases revolves around the use of technology in healthcare, whereas Health Analytics is more about data analysis and information capture. The latter usually requires a basic understanding of some programming language like SQL, R, Python, etc.
Maam , how and what should a BDS student prepare or know about basically before learning the health informatics course in canada? is it mandatory to know or learn some computed related courses before learn this course in canada?

@@gadhamohanan7473 You don't need to learn any computer programming skills. Regarding George Brown College, have heard of this but am not sure about the prospects. Try to reach out to their alumni through LinkedIn.

Online courses won't be of much help. Choose a program based on your interest, and work profile that suits you.

Choose a course based on your interest. You will always make wise decisions and grow professionally if you get into a field which lies in line with your thoughts and interest.

You can apply to organisations that work in the health informatics space directly with their technical department as a software engineer. If you want to understand what health informatics is and what kind of products are there, you can do a certificate course if you want.

Yes, you can do health informatics abroad. Regarding the programming language, you do not need to learn any language since as HIT professionals we work at the front-end of the product.

Job demand is good, but outside India, there is no culture of providing placements as such. You have to identify and search the opportunities with the help of your faculty and alumni.

Manipal university is a good institution. Check with the alumni, you can connect through LinkedIn and ask about the course prospects.
Maam can we do Health Informatics after class 12?
Yes, you can. But there are not many colleges which provide Bachelors in Health Informatics (MAHE is the one that I know of, rest you can search in Google). Else you can do bachelors in health and hospital management; after which you can pursue the masters.
