Yes.... Total no. Of equalizer ring is as per the formula mentioned in book, but total ring in operation or bypass the current is 2 always....one for positive and one for negative

Here, the current is circulating current.... Not the load current. This current only flows.... between the two unequal terminals and thus not be used for load operation.

Nhi ...only in case of multiple brushes...... that's why we use it in LAP not in WAVE

As the rotor is rotating.... Therefore operational equalizer ring changes every time....

What if we connect a high resistance resistor instead of equaliser ring?
Then the current will pass from brushes.... As low resistance path and purpose or equalizer ring remain unsolved
Bro high resitance can not offer almost no current and all current will flow through brushes 1 and 2 both and subsequently it will spark
