My favorite interview of Cynthia for Wicked! Loved hearing the technical aspects of her prep. At the heart of it, you can tell that it’s the magic of the collaboration of performance that appeals to her.
@@deejaydiabolic it's a very insulting statement, especially when you're interviewing someone who is starring in a lead role. it shows you don't care. thats why Cynthia reacted that way.
@@burburchacha so every host of every tv show is absolutely required to physically go out and take part in what the person he's interviewing does? If this individual was interviewing an avid skydiver and told them he has never skydived, then that should be considered an insult to the skydiver? Lol see how your logic makes ZERO sense. The interviewer asks questions about a clown at a circus but then says, you know, I've never been to a circus before...you're saying that comment shows he doesn't care? I think you are maybe just a little over-sensitive
Ms. Erivo, you are everything. Elphaba's the hero we need right now and you brought so much life to her.
it takes a lot to impress me but Cynthia Erivo blew me away in Wicked. Stunning performance
She’s absolutely incredible in this role. Stunning from start to finish. 10/10.
Her acting and singing is beautiful to digest I am excited for the second act of the film x

Great interview. She was magnificent in Wicked.
I love that even at this level..it all comes down to listening and blending. Love it!!
She is stupendous! I loved this video thank you!
I needed an interview on the technicality of music and singing! thank you!!
Gives me chills.
She's so talented and authentic. Absolutely beautiful ❤️
they're probably going to make an anime about singing athletes after this... lol.
❤

I read the book but missed the theatrical performance.
0:13 you absolutely do NOT say to someone like Cynthia right in the face that you haven't seen Wicked on stage!
Why? Is her ego that fragile? Lol why would she care? She didn't actually perform in the stage version so why shouldn't he make that statement?

@burburchacha I don't think that means or looks like he cares less. In fact, it probably opens more opportunity for her to expound upon the movie.
@@burburchacha He also seems very curious for the entire interview, so it's not like he's just asking random questions just because

Care to elaborate on why you've given this a thumbs down please?
