Humans naturally want to submit to the will of the highest power. Bow & Prostration are the ultimate expression of submission to the Most Sublime & Majestic.

...we pray in open areas during special occasions such as Eid because there are SO MANY IF US WITH THE SINGLE MINDED PURPOSE of fulfilling the command to pray in congregation that practically we need a vast open space to contain us.
