    I am so glad you posted this video! I really wanted a general idea of how you built yours so I could build something similar in my backyard. Thanks for the inspiration and the video of the build process. Truly a magnificent bar shed!

    I keep coming back to this build! Really nice job! I wonder if you insulated the floor or decided against re: critters/mice? I am looking at a very similar build without the shed, as I have one and space issues, but, I may make the bar 2 feet or so longer as a result. Wonder about adding a foot rest/bar as well? I am really impressed with your design and the final product. Thanks kindly for sharing.

    What are the 6"x6"x12' pieces at the beginning, is that concrete and you laid the wood on, like a skid or are the pressure treated 6"x6"s. Thanks

    • @fredrikjaensson7350
      @fredrikjaensson7350 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      He have done it with concrete, but important to get same level on every concrete. But you can take stone slabs if you want, easier to adjust.
      I dont se if he had pressure treated 6x6's but if I had make that I had use pressure treated on the ground. With pressure trested wood of good quality you will get like 10-15 more years of long lasting.
      But that bar in awesome. I would like to have one in my garden too🤘🤘🤘

  • @adamruss1449
    @adamruss1449 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Very cool! Question: is all the framing pressure treated pine, or only the wood exposed to the exterior?

    What a great job brother! I have a question if you don't mind...did you use deck blocks or did you dig holes and cement 6x6 posts in the ground? Great job...I'm trying to do something similar.

  • @Daniel_BDB
    @Daniel_BDB ปีที่แล้ว

    That is awesome. But one question. Instead of having to take off the clear plastic every year why dont you make it to where it rolls up and you can keep it hanging. So if theres ever rain or snow you can then roll it down and create something that holds it down

    • @GMUSigEp
      @GMUSigEp ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm assuming that if he rolls it it will become scratched (like the back window of a Jeep), which is probably why he's not rolling it up / down year round. I'd be curious how he's storing the plastic when it's not up.

    I need this in my Wisconsin back yard. What type of heater are you using? Do you have a dedicated circuit for this bar? If I have a concrete slab, should I still do wood floors?

    Really cool build! I'm curious about your decision to have doors on both ends of the shed - how come you opted for that instead of the extra wall space?

    • @ThompsonWoodworks
      @ThompsonWoodworks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks and good question. Hadn’t really thought about that being so focused on the bar. I guess just having double doors on the right side may have been a better alternative.

    What did you attach the vinyl sheets with?

  • @grabbingbass744
    @grabbingbass744 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The marine vinyl that you used. In the summer does it roll up or removed. Also can it be reused. Hard to see how you fastened it on.
