Hey! Many may ask themselves why is it connected that way, so I'll try to explain why can you access this place technically located in Lordaeron from the Twisting Nether of the Outland. Back when Blizzard was planning a new expansion, they first considered the South Seas (Pirates of the Caribbean was a huge thing at this moment) and the exploration of the Plunder Isles, Tel'Abim, and many other isles with this Stranglethorn feeling to it. Unfortunately, there were game limitations to the amount of zones (both in hardware and software) that could be added to Azeroth and so they went for the Burning Crusade and the Outland, which meant they had a brand new map to use. And like you explained at 7:00 forward, all of the zones are connected : Azuremyst/Bloodmyst (Draenei startzone), Outland, Eversong/Ghostlands (Blood Elves startzone)...
Thanks for the explanation. I've only recently started exploring and I was really surprised how many cool things there are around the world. Gonna post shadowmoon -> azuremyst jump and then heading to Deadmines. Already have hours and hours of footage and cool pics from all kinds of places. Really never expected to have so much fun in this aspect of the game ngl
