If you pause the video when they exit the canyon from the hole on the reef wall, you can read 45m on the computer. I believe it is the deepest part of the dive. Then they switch gas in the champagne bubbles at the top of the canyon's entry at about 15m depth.

yeah, i'd like to know what mixture they're using besides that nitrox 45 in the stage... if air, or if what kind of trimix for 45m dive...

@@CrazyScubaCouple The back gas is dialed in for 45MOD so likely not air (deep air). So that leaves a Nitrox 25 mix or 21/35 I think.

@@JaytothaT42069 Yes, practice makes perfect. Feeling Narced is like a lot of things, varies by individual, but of course, the most significant being amount and frequency of deep dives and then I might add health. The key, as the new diver is diving deeper, is an experienced companion, or instructor.
We were at 60 m and he was fine. He timed me as I'd tie familiar knots, to measure the effect on my hand to eye coordination, like a sobriety test. But I was quite comfortable, just slow. And I suppose it was fortunate there was no important decision making needed.

@@softgoodsint cool makes sense. I was thinking about that since my dive instructor probably goes to that depth often. My heart rate went up and i felt like i had an adrenaline rush. We did a swim through after i hit 114ft. Natural instinct was to want to go up. But my training made me self talk and logically realize that i should feel better if i go up. Also wanted to slow my breathing down and my heart rate. I didnt want to be the first one out of air. It was a fun dive near Punta Sur on the south west side of cozumel. My computer went in to a two stage decompression mode i think. I know i hit 1 min on the no deco timing as i was coming up. I think cardio is the best thing a diver can do to stay healthy. Drysuits are great for buoyancy control, especially in deep dives.

I saw people in the Cenotes of Mexco in drysuits... I was like, what??????? I just did a dive 2 days ago in the Great Lakes in a 7mm Semi Dry suit. The water was 34 F, so I guess I'm used to it.

Dan Vaught it’s their preference. Congratulations for wearing a 7mil. We’re all very proud of you. But if they like to wear a dry suit when it’s warm, how does that effect you at all?
