Much safer than a traditional stump grinder. Don't have debris flying all over the place. I can imagine easier to clean up too since the wood chips are pretty much contained to one area and not spread all over the neighborhood.
That is one tremendous advantage of this system. The cleanup is so much simpler and like you said it doesn't throw the material like a wheel style grinder would.
That’s really cool. I’m no landscaper have to ask: will those wood chip fertilize the surrounding soil if you leave it out of cover the hole where the stump used to be?
Total time on the big stump was approximately 20 minutes of work time. We got bogged down because it began to fracture and it took some time re-positioning to get at the rest.
It is significantly faster then a typical stump grinding machine. An experienced operator can have an average sized stump done in under 5 minutes. I hope this information helps with your purchase.
Very much so. We are satisfied with our unit. Not too long after this video was published it went to another job. That site had approximately 170 stumps of all different sizes and we were done in day and a half. Anything below six inches it may have trouble with. We found that it was more so splitting the stump as opposed to grinding it up. Overall it was a beneficial purchase for us.
Interessantes Video. Danke für den Link. Sie machen einen guten Punkt auf die Stumpex-Einschränkungen. Zum Ausführen ist eine große Maschine erforderlich, die bei einigen Unternehmen möglicherweise nicht funktioniert.
You're welcome to come in and leave an application at our main office. At the moment we are not actively hiring but we may get in touch when a position becomes available. What type of work are you looking for?

Is it working this well on a green stump?
Oh yeah, this is so satisfying to watch.
What an excellent tool ,it’s also tidy unlike an excavator .
Those chips can be use stove cooking instead of coal , mulch also.
Does that come in a 3 point hook up ???
It would be cool to see someone drill a horizontal hole through a very large tree with one of those

Wonder if that would work on JCB?
Looks like those chips would make good mulch
What is the price?
Is this a fecon shx33sx? Thanks
How much is the value of that tool ? Nice video though
I like it because it’s neat, but way slower than a traditional grinder. Good for residential work though.
I hear the tip dulls out very quickly and cost ~$1000
I’d love to see the whole stump grinding. Your stopping your videos too soon.
Because it didn’t work, perhaps.
How long did it take to mulch the larger shrimp up?

@@robinsonenterprises9178 thanks. Thinking about buying one. 20 min is not that long

@@bradtopp7332 For the Stumpex system or our work?
Where you based out of?
Hello, our operation is based out of Nevada City, California.
Great idea...limited urban application. With an 8000 lb piece of equipment and a 60" wide path, there would be very few job opportunities.
I'm looking for a tree service in the Rochester NY area who has one of those.
Check with Flower City Tree. They seem to be the most popular in terms of Google reviews.
Are you still happy with this unit and capabilities? Checking them out now and appreciate experienced feedback. Thanks

Can I have chocolate sprinkles with that and a straw?
Only if its a bendy straw.
Sehr gutes Gerät, aber für unserer Einsatz zu groß.
