Love your pantry hall videos. Thank you for all the ideas to use the foods for. It really helped me. But Isn't the whole idea of those cutting sheets is so that there isn't cross contamination like meat and tomatoes. Also hard to see the red tomatoes on a red cutting sheet.
Yes that is the point of the different colored sheets! It's pretty cool! I don't always use the right one for cutting though. They are all clean so I just pick whichever one I fancy!

My grandma used to make pickled watermelon rinds. They taste like a really sweet pickle. We liked them as kids. However I do not know her recipe.

Hi Carolina, I wanted to stop by & tell you that you've been on my mind lately. I, too, have lost my mom back in 2006. I lost her suddenly w/o any warning... she had even went to work that day. I'm thankful that I talked to her the night before as I got ready for work. (I worked overnights at WM, 10p-7a.) Anyways, I just wanted you to know that if you need time away for awhile. Its alright, you do what you need to do. We'll still be here. ❤

My mom used to make watermelon rind pickles with red hot cinnamon candies. They were wonderful! I may have to make them.

If you make meatballs with ground ck or turkey, soak 2 slices of bread in milk for 5 min, then squeeze out the milk. Add the squeezed bread into the meat like bread crumbs. Makes moist delicious meatballs

Nice haul Carolina! I like your cutt8ng board! And then you said itd be in thedescription box! Lol, that knife set is nice! I wish i needed new ones! I wish i had a big homestead! I think i would have chickens, defjnitely more than one dog! And a huge garden! Right now i have to use raised beds and or containers, im not getting much out of it yet! Everything will probably produce all at once! Ive onlyicked some cherry tomatoes small cucumbers and banana peppers so far! Im sort of new to the food growing game! Used to only have flowers, and some herbs, tryi g to save us some money! Have red yellow and purple potatoes in grow bags, hopefully we get some! We're in central Ohio zone 6,TFS

You can also add Salsa to the meat if you don't have any taco seasoning. It works well in a pinch.

You don’t know anything about her financial situation. The good news is Carolina has other videos explaining why they go! Food banks are for anyone. She’s not taking from “needier” people.

I can't fed my family on the food bank alone. It helps with a meal or two, but I still need to buy other food. Buying in bulk is the way I choose to save money.
