Hi Ms.Pat…I’m from the future.I ‘m happy to tell you that you do get a television sitcom and it is autobiographical based on your best selling book “Rabbit”.After 3 major television networks and 3 writers later, your sitcom finds a home at BET+,a new streaming television platform. It is recorded in front of a live television audience, and it is receiving great reviews…Godspeed Ms.Pat…😊😘💕
Yeah me too ! Am not American nd don’t even live there . But miss pat is somebody I knew growing up !!! Am so happy her husband and honorable man!!! He a lion !!!❤❤❤
Man, I really feel her struggle. There's something about growing up in the hood, having dysfunctional family members and growing up to be this defensive person that really reached me. I remember her saying that once she got into a fight with her husband's sister and almost even took out a knife. Sounds crazy, and her husband was like WTF are you doing? But, in her head she realized how defensive she was because of her upbringing...I felt that. It made me cry because the people who don't understand us because they've never been through it, will look at us as crazy, misunderstand us, but all we need is someone patient enough to understand..
I love Ms. Pat. Please let me know when you are coming to Chicago! Today is the first time I have ever heard of you. You are one hell of a comedian. I saw you on the Breakfast Club.
I find her a extremely Ghetto bad example, I am a Black Female. I get asked about my babies daddy, I am married and Ivy League. I am from the Midwest and I grew upper middle class. But I am told I am a liar! There is always this element, they don't want to better their lives, with School only sell drugs, etc. Its all over the World. And chasing married Men.
@@maxinefowler1186 Woman what are you talking about? Ms Pat has overcome a lot in her life. She's endured things most of us would not survive. She's been through child abuse, child molestation, domestic abuse, jail, being a teenage mother of two children and yet she's able to proud in her own skin and stand in her truth. While you and your ivy league Midwest middle class upbringing still feel the need to prove your worth to strangers.
I love miss pat. Its so funny cuz I never heard of her till i moved from LA to a rural white area on the radio. But i relate to her story so much. But she made it out from being strong. She's so amazing.
I’m a 54 yr old white woman... This white dude asking ms pat these questions is a total tool! Oblivious and very condescending. It almost sounds like he’s baiting her. I’ve had many horrible incidents happen to me in my life but nothing like this beautiful woman’s life. As tragic as her life has been she’s turned it around for herself and for that you have to have empathy and respect. I hope she makes a name for herself and help other kids in that kind of misfortunate situation. She needs to share her story and to give hope to these children.
Keenan Thomas True men/boys are treated differently, it’s also the reason there are so many absent fathers. Society always celebrate underdog stories of men. So what’s your issue with us celebrating this woman, overcoming her short comings?
Mrs. Pat, I just seen you for the first time on Netflix. I love standup and I have to say you are my new favorite. You are hilarious and I think a lot more people can relate to you than you could ever imagine. I’m sure you will have your own show soon!
I feel like the interviewer being from such a different demographic/upbringing (sounds overseas) his reactions are truer than just some other white guy born in Indiana that tries to relate when it’s uncalled for. Just feel like this guy is actually genuinely interested and surprised with literally every single story. Know what I mean?
Ms Pat is a strong sexxy Black BBW with a gift from God she can share her real life testimony. Laugh about it and make everybody laugh at her pain and her struggle
I like the fact that Pat can laugh about her past but it saddens me to the core!! where were cps? the welfare lady that would talk with her mom didn't do shit that is crazy. It aint nothing but God the reason why Pat is living and telling her story. Lord i hope she goes to the inner cities and share her story and tell anybody who has this type or any type of dysfunction to tell somebody so they can get help!!
I read the story in her book and the CPS lady was begging her mom to press charges on her married man boyfriend. But you gotta understand that people who bring cops into the community were not respected and cops were not trusted. So she basically explained it that she told/asked her mom to not report her boyfriend and her mom was more than willing to not do shit in this situation.
@@TheGstein This is the problem. Years ago, the government would just remove these kids at risk but then the SJW's said it was "racist" to remove black kids from their families. These problems exist because many poor black people allow it to happen.
Sadly they don't care about poor children in the hood. Teachers turn a blind eye, CPS turns a blind eye, opportunities are skim. The connection to H.S and their future self is dim. We need people who believe inner city children, like they do to the suburban children. Property tax should play no role in education.
@@jenniferaquino1729 The US spends more per student than any country in the world. I've seen a lot of inner city schools and they are well financed with good facilities. Any African American who studies well and performs tasks will get a scholarship to a better schooI. I dont think the problem is the school. Kids cant learn if they dont respect education and care about it and they dont have guidance and discipline at home. If parents dont read to children from a young age, and they have a poor diet and poor sleeping habits its very hard to turn it around. If the parents are on drugs and anti-authority and in gangs Its a hard situation to solve but one possibility is to start schooling earlier for these kids, like preschool.
This lady has a new fan. I just ran across one of her videos for the first time last week and I've already read her book, seen her Netflix special and most of her youtube videos.
Ms. Pat is so articulate and also is the best black spokesperson. Through her comedy gives you such an insight into the issues around the black community. Well done to her. I have to say she is one funniest comedian but please come to the UK. Watch her with Joe Rogan it was the funniest interview.
I remember when I was 15, I wanted a part time job so I changed the age on my birth certificate to make my age 16 and got a job. I ended up working all together about 40 years.
LOL - You could get away with this kind of thing back then. I lied about my age to get a job sticking up skittles in a pub. I was 14, and the landlord said I had to be 15. I miss those days.
I am black and grew up adjacent to the hood. I am VERY happy to have none of these memories as a part of my childhood!!!! I never wanted to thank my mom and dad for being who they are as much as when I listened to this awful story!!!!
You laugh but she makes you want to cry for her life it seems to be very sad , but how things happen to Pat you feel so bad for her but the way she tells things u laugh and the case manger was right about her . But it is a crazy life she had
Her story is sad! A grown ass nasty nothing male is molesting and beating this 12 year old little girl for most of her life and other adults let it happen?!! WOW! SMH

This is everyday life for majority of people in the hood.
What are you talking about, the interviewer is laughing his ass off. Hes no Johnny Carson but hes not doing anything wrong.

I love this Beautiful and funny woman. Her story is a trip but shes a walking example of taking an opportunity and making it. I love Ms. Pat.
