Shout out to Tami Roman for some A+ acting. She is a breakout star on the show, Ms. Pat and Tami botb have great comedic timing, with kindrid spirits. But My Lordt, Ms. Pat can do NO wrong because she always coming from the heart and is true honesty. She can break a 4th wall naturally. When she said hush don't answer that, if you say it on air them people will get you fired and up out of here.

I have watched the whole season in a day both times. The ending scene on season one had me crying. The scene about the molestation and how it affected her sister had me in tears. It’s so realistic bc I’ve grown up around a family just like hers.
That episode had me balling. Such a great show.

Archie Bunker didn't use the word "n!gga" persay, but he DID say the word "negro" often. It's part of the show that made it what it was 🤷🏽♀️. Authentic, funny as FUK and successful. Sanford and Son was soooo "real" but it would NOT survive these times. The writers & creators of those shows made sure to make them as authentic as possible. And they did a great job.
