- Hi friends... this is rather an unexpected upload. I wasnt sure if I wanted to post this video. It's quite the vulnerable share but I want to be honest about where my headspace has been lately as a creative. I have been having some things on my mind lately about what it feels being a creative at this moment and some of the realities I have been dealing with. There is so much for me to be grateful for and I am, but at the same time I have been battling with some things. Idk if this will reach anybody tbh but I figured I would still put this video out there in case it resonates with anybody.

This makes total sense. I imagine finding a balance between your artistic goals and your finances is quite challenging! And definitely something that you constantly have to reassess and tweak to fit your needs. Sending you love and appreciation for all of the energy you put into your videos! You have created one of my favorite channels on TH-cam and I'm grateful that I found you on here :)
Your kind words are truly felt, friend. Thank you so much! It’s a constant battle with finding balance by making this work sustainable and simply just creating. But it’s a battle I’m willing to find common ground with because I truly love sharing my work on line. 🦋🫶🏼
Living in a world that does not value this kind of emotional, thoughtful, liberating work sometimes makes it harder for me to feel hopeful (like the forward-thinking optimism you talked about) -- though I know if we keep creating and leading with empathy, then we are all better for it. I hope these feelings pass through you more gently and more swiftly each time you experience them
Definitely 💯 right I am struggling with people at work whom don't have emotional things and they are like fighting each other in a way in some rough words, lack of appreciation of your professional experiences, and whom will win the one who have not any of experiences just because they are alliances to a bad director unfortunately the world 🌍 is turning bad and those people like me honest and respectable are being invisible. 😢
Unfortunately there will always be a select few that will not value nor align with certain types of works being shared. And I find myself realizing that I do not wish for that alignment either if it’s not in their values either way. What truly can make this work so much worth it, is those that do align and even if it’s only a few or a couple whom I can change their lives in some little or big way - then this work will always be worth it because of that. 🦋🫶🏼
I totally feel you on this topic! I hope you are able to find moments where you are very proud of yourself! You have published a friggin book! That’s a huge accomplishment!

Being a creative sharing their work online comes with many obstacles but it is also very fruitful in all the beautiful ways. I truly enjoy sharing my work online but I would be lying if I didn’t mention it does comes with its defaults. At the end of the day, it’s a balance and challenges we must be willing to navigate. I find the work I do, very fulfilling despite its ups and downs. Thank you for listening to me 🦋🫶🏼

Why i feel that you are sad in a way, i know you are struggling as all we do in this tough world as all authors and creatives we are all burnout in a way but hold yourself and think positively what you accomplished so far and be proud to yourself because if you see and interact with others like me you will find that i didn't accomplish anything since covid and lack of finances and economic crises, chill my friend and put a visual board in front of your eyes and write down everything positive that happened to you and your accomplished goals and make yourself proud of yourself. ❤
