    Some Friday thoughts. You can not remove the experiences of the past or parts of yourself. The good and bad experiences are all part of you. This includes your martial arts. We may stop participating in certain martial arts for a myriad of reasons, but it doesn't mean we lose the skills and attributes developed while participating in those art and combat sports. We may be a bit rusty and not as athletic or dynamic as we once were, but the skill and knowledge is still there. That style, your style comes out in your free flow and movement.
    You may not move the way you did, but your movement is your own. Adjust, adapt, and make it your own. Movement is life and medicine.

    For clarity, I was an ok boxer, kickboxer, and Muay Thai Fighter. I owned a gym, I have a few pro fights, and I was a decent coach.
    Also, I have a few world titles in Tae Kwon Do and Sport Karate from 1999-2003. I fought in USTU TKD qualifiers and was an Olympic, hopeful. Plus, I fought on the NASKA circuit. However, that was a long time ago...and 60lbs ago.
    Now, I just do "stuff," and I am happy with that.
