Keegan really went from being bench for his defense to being our main defender
He gotta step up now Davion ain't getting no minutes
I think he got stronger in the off-season. Also worked a lot of 1on1 with fox helped too.
In college he could make opportunistic plays on D, but he could be out muscled. I saw multiple times in this video, where he took the contact and stood his ground. He might be scary on d thus year.
Way more aggressive on offense now as well. Mike B is a hell of a coach.
Arby’s shirt at the end 😂
Hes gonna be our kawhi
You’re blessing us twice in one week?! Preciate you KFR.
KFR teasing us with the Arby’s sponsor like an MCU end credit scene. Phenomenal breakdown as always!
Guarding fox is harder than guarding anyone else lol
Looks like a summer of one-on-one with Fox is paying off. This is an amazing transformation for Murray.
Great stuff as always
Great stuff as always from KFR! Love the breakdown here and on Twitter (wish he was on threads tho)
Is that a photo of you and Keon Ellis? You’re Korean and you own a Arby’s? That’s awesome!!! I love Arby’s! GO KINGS!!!
Being coachable should be a high priority when choosing any player. Keegan illustrates that perfectly.
What a great game last night!
I guess nba raising star intro of Keegan is close now with Keegan playing D at a high level. Lol
Fox, Sabonis, the rest of the Kings players, the franchise, and most importantly the fans all know that Keegan Murray is the future centerpiece of our team!!! 💜🦁👑🏀🔥
Hoping to see this type of improvement from Vezenkov this time next year. He gets beat 1v1 all the time, and makes a lot of off-ball mistakes.
He has been exceptionally solid OVERALL on D 😂 way better than everyone claimed he would be and he is still adapting to the speed
He will improve but not much he’s isn’t athletic but honesty he’s a much better defender than anyone would’ve expected he’s exceeded many expectations on that end
Your comment " anticipate the drive" shows the ability to understand and take time to know your opponent, this is alot more than just getting out on the court and playing a game...
We're back 2
I wonder if Keegan's defense has anything to do with Davion Mitchell not playing. I would expect Mitchell to be defending Donovan but Keegan was doing outstanding.
Idk, Keegan did a better job on Curry than Davion.
It really makes you wonder. As good of a defender Davion is, maybe coaches realize he is just too short and not very long. I am betting Doug has been working with Keegan big time. The little tricks I see Keegan using definitely reminds me of Doug's style. The fact Davion is not play AT ALL is kind of concerning too. Maybe this is just a phase of seeing if Keegan can step up defensively?
@@pnutbuttajellee1394I read somewhere Fox worked with home 1on1 in the offseason.
@@pnutbuttajellee1394 I loved Davion Mitchell on this team so he could guard guys like Steph and Lillard when he was with Portland. But he's sooo limited offensively and not really getting better, I wonder if he is going to be a trade chip in the future.
Definitely because Keegan can guard 1-4. Davion can only guard smaller players.
Keegan DPOY? I don't see why not.
Arby's
Hi l0cal guy
Him and keon defense has to be there every game
