Finally a game that knows that Majin Vegeta was just a regoular Ssj when he was at the tournament. He transformed into a Ssj2 the moment Goku himself went Ssj2.

@@supersaiyankb5779 He had electricity only the moment he was turning Majin, and the moment he got free from Babidi's spell control(Just like some sort of power up), which is exactly what happened in both Anime and Manga. Every other game fails to realize that Majin Vegeta was a regoular Ssj during those moments, and then went Ssj2 the same exact moment Goku went Ssj2.

@@supersaiyankb5779 Yes, the moment when he turned Majin, Vegeta had red sparks around his aura. While the moment he got free from Babidi's spell control, he had blue sparks around his aura. Not always sparks define the Ssj2 form, in fact there were moments in which Goku had sparks around his aura while powering up to Ssj(Goku going Ssj on Pikkon is an example). Same thing for Bardock in the non canon OVA.

I agree! The game looks fantastic! If you have time, look up budokai 3 for ps2 and burst limit. Both used cell shading for the character models and still hold up today.

That’s why most of these lines feel flat
Because this game is base of the manga not the anime
The story has been done so many times. They could half-ass it honestly and I wouldn’t even trip. Is the game fun is what matters at that point. Storywise we don’t get anything new

I don't like how some of these scenes are done. Like when supreme Kai got between Goku and Vegeta and Goku threatened him it really lacked feeling and intensity as if they were rehearsing the script for the 100th time and made it seem really dull. It's really disappointing to me.

Agreed. I still think they did an AMAZING JOB overall,it almost like watching the show all over again.....but it's lacking intensity. Here,when Goku threatens supreme kai,he just drops his hands and gives up. I was expecting it to be drawn out a little longer. Have Gohan,say,"Dad.....DON'T!!!".....A short look of shock from Vegeta,an expression of surprise/fear on supreme kai's face.....there was none of that. Kinda disappointing.

There are supposed to be day one patches meaning anything you see here could already be fixed. The game technically doesn't come out until tomorrow so they may not release the patch until midnight. I'm still hyped for the game. Its obviously going to have some flaws but if its 90-95% a great game then I don't care.

I'm very picky about DBZ details...I be wanting everything to be accurate as possible and I don't like that when they are super sayian & when they charge up their aura is still blue instead of it being yellow
Me too actually. The first thing I noticed and I'm glad that I'm not alone. Auras are a very important aspect in DBZ visuals and charging moments are very hyping in the anime. Imho it's a shame that they screwed that part so hard. Hopefully modders will solve the issue.

SSj3for some reason I can’t remember bc it was Ass, but it would shorten his time on earth. So that’s why he wouldn’t use it
The real reason was ssj3 was added later. Toriyama didn't planed it from the begining, like almost everything in this arc. Then he came up with the shit excuse of the ssj3 shortening the time on earth to justify non using it here.

@@UWG3 yeah, but anything can look one way and feel another. The combat is fun, take it from someone playing it. Not every delivery is a 10/10, but there are some lines in the game that I think have better delivery than the anime itself. They didn't fully animate every cutscene, but the fully animated ones look amazing. I've been playing the Z story as long as anyone else, and I still really enjoy everything I've seen in this game so far. In my opinion, it is a much better game than the likes of FighterZ and Budokai, but that's because I prefer RPGs to fighting games. It's unfair to the developers to write the game off based on someone else's experience. If you want to judge how it looks, or sounds, that's okay, but unless you play it yourself, you can't speak on the gameplay.
@@UWG3 I never said it didn't bother me. I wish they had based it off of the anime rather than the manga too, which is why the scenes turned out like they did. It would be cool if they added a free DLC for the falcouner score, but that was only popular in America, and the game is made by a japanese company so I dont know if that'll happen. The game isn't perfect by any means, but it certainly isn't worth all the hate it's getting online
