When Goku threatens Supreme Kai is always my favorite scene. It’s like “if you don’t move, you die”
You can tell too Goku didn't WANT to threaten Shin/the Supreme Kai, but he knew with how adamant Vegeta was, and given he'd killed to prove his point, he knew he had to take him on, damn the consequences of Majin Buu's resurrection

I wish the bosses were more difficult, I was cool with them being relatively easy for fights like Frieza vs SSJ Goku and SSJ2 Teen Gohan vs Cell but in fights like Majin Vegeta vs Goku the powerlevels were almost even and I think the bosses should have reflected that

VERY underwhelming. I don't think any Dragonball game will match the intensity of the funi dub scene.
This is based on the Manga.
The more cutscenes I watch the more mixed feelings I have about the cutscenes and it’s portrayal of the anime. Some cutscenes are really good but I feel that most are very underwhelming like that. I understand that it doesn’t have to be frame by frame like the anime but if it were me I’d make sure there’s little to no dissatisfaction concerning scenes like this. Just my opinion 🤷♂️

I love they do all the little details like Dabura jumping off with Babidi or when Goku ready to attack spreme kai just to fight vegeta.Gameplay seems meh but crispy but the cutscenes are very detailed.IIs like watching DBZ all over again.No DB game was this detailed till now as the scenes go.
Budokai 1 showed everything.

Joshua Lowe Yeah, although dbSuper has a looooooot of trash, I really love how they managed the Goku and Vegeta relationship and rivalry. They’re pretty much equals but with different skill sets. I disliked the whole “ssb Kaioken x20 and ssb Evolution “ cause they feel unnecessary as hell and don’t really make sense , but the manga did it 100% perfectly so far.
Anyway, rn, Goku and Vegeta are equals and that’s just so cool to see

As aesthetically pleasing as the combat looks, I really expected it to have more depth, it somehow feels even more shallow than XV2’s combat. The lack of an online vs or co-op mode is kind of disappointing, nothing about the combat looks like it would make 2v2 or 3v3 impossible. I know they wanted to focus on the single player experience, but I feel like so much more could’ve been done...

This is a FIGHTING anime and 80% or more of the focus should have been put into the combat.
We can't help comparing it to Xenoverse combat because it feels very similar and XV already set the bar so low.
Looking pretty is useless when the fighting isn't fun, engaging and rewarding which it really isn't in Kakarot!
To top everything off the scores that played in the anime while they conversed or battled are completely absent in this game and it takes away A LOT of the authentic DBZ experience.
People can try and justify this turd of a game all they want but it genuinely sucked especially after how hyped fans were as release drew closer and trailers released 1 after the other.

Sorry to say but this just doesn’t cut it for me. Lacks the dramatic flair and cinematography of older games. It just looks like models with the most minimal amount of movements.
They did 4:25 wrong. Goku would never dodge to let a blast hit innocent people and Vegeta shot the blast at his side not in front of him.
As much as i enjoy the game. I expected more of the cutscenes.
Especially this one where goku raised his hand against supreme kai. It felt rushed and vegeta called him a cliwn not a baffoon >.>
