This one is more helpful to show certain things, but I’m trying to learn how to make dinos go to a certain direction in another arc. You tuber literally did not say which buttons you need for like an Xbox like do people forget that there’s different controllers or devices that are used for ark like, can they not make a separate video on that shit?

Been playing for almost a year now and learned a couple new things. I never knew about holding the back button until 8 months after I started playing it. I had no clue there was a third person camera (even though I stick with first person because that's what I'm used to unless I'm on an animal)
Great video, showed this to my buddies son, he seen me playing and now he is hooked but needed this and Dododex to speed things up. One comment and not something many people know, you missed one thing…..how to equip torches to saddles so you don’t have to hold them and can fight/defend while the torch is lit! Just add the torch to the saddle like you do attachments or bullets to guns…enjoy!

When watching TH-cam Building tutorials i often see them zoom out and up... like if building high or a roof... I can not seem to figure that our on the Xbox! So I am always building random stairs. Is there a way to do this?
They may be using orbit cam or 3rd person, which I think are both found under the wheel that comes up when you hold select

I need to know how to make it where my glider doesn't put me into third person each time I use it. It was always first person until the other day and now I can't fix it back..
Idk if I missed it but I still can’t figure out how to use things in my hotbar.
Why does BOTH double-tapping the 'X' button AND double-tapping the 'Y' button throw my shoulder-mount?....especially since double-tapping the 'X' button ALSO activates my weapon attachment (Flashlight on/off).......every time I want to turn my flashlight on/off it throws my shoulder mount

No, I tested yesterday to be sure. Double tapping x doesn't throw my shoulder pet.

Bro thanks for the video so when I shoot my longneck rifle there’s a nasty weapon reload away like the hole thing moves and makes me dizzy how can I turn that off I turned bob off so when I run my character doesn’t bounce up and down but that weapon relaid sway is killn me

Ha, i played for an hour yesterday using a ps5 controller on pc, learned all of this in that time, just came to see if i missed anything. I thought that there might be something faster than holding a to quick move, since on keyboard you simply press T. Nice video!

Is there any way to mass tranfer all items into something e.g transferring all inventory prime meat into a cooker at once?
You can type “meat” then the two arrows next to the inventory search bar (transfer all) and transfer it from you to the selected inventory. e.g from you to campfire’s inventory if you interacted with the camp fire. Idk if that makes sense tbf…😂

hey this is a very stupid answer but im new to xbox and ark and when im unlocking new crafting recipes idk how to scroll down please help
Not sure if you saw it, but I replied to your comment for this on another video. Just in case anyone else is looking for the same answer here, it should be your right analog stick to scroll. You may need to use your left analog stick to go down to the engrams first though.

You can put it on your hot bar and use it like I do in the video or you should be able to use it from your inventory with Y I think, been a while since I've played on Xbox but I'm pretty sure I do that in the video too. Just like the pickaxe or hatchet.
How do you go into prone though, I have seen people do it in videos

I think it should be your right and left triggers, I think the right trigger should place and left should detonate.
