What brake bias are you using? I have no idea how you're only using 60-70% of brake going into the roller coaster braking at the 2 marker. I would brake slightly before and still needed about 80-90% to get it slowed down.
I tried to run the last time slot on Sunday and i was doing good in open practice but once i connected to the race session my connection to the server took a crap and my ping went through the roof so i didn't run. I didn't want to be blinking around others and ruin their races. I probably took a massive IR hit because of it.
Yeah man, I agree. That sucked royal. :( . Continues to happen. One can argue a driver that does this consistently is going to get penalized down to C or D class. I understand the distributed penalty system for contact as well. This seems to persist though where much faster classes just bully their way through much slower classes. I am considering pitching iRacing that they need to edit the algorithm a bit for multiclass races to encourage much faster classes make smarter overtakes when lapping slower classes. Perhaps the faster class receives a 1.5x multiplier (thus 3x) for car contact with a car class one position slower and 1.75x (thus 3.5x rounded to 4x) when contact is made with a slower class 2 or more classes down. Some series like the one where the Clio, Miata, and GR86 race could be exempt as they do travel roughly the same speed (perhaps with the Clio being a bit faster on most tracks but not significantly). Over time this would encourage safer drivers driving faster cars be safer, as only the safer ones would receive less safety rating in higher classes. *shrugs* The system seems to work relatively well for peer spec racing but multiclass always seems to be a bit of a shit show.
This series looks almost as fun as watching Goff's fake fumble touchdown!
I cannot go anywhere as a Bears fan.
@@blkhauck LOL Sorry
Hi Matt great drive. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
