To everyone asking how did these guys manage to make 15 seasons of this show just need to know that through god, all things are possible, so jot that down.
That clip shows a revelation that a character we've known for years has a hilarious name, which is itself a callback to the reveal years earlier about his son's name. And that's how you make a hit show that is this good for this long.

As a Welsh football fan (Cardiff) I really wish Wrexham well. Not a huge club but a dignified one and they deserve a lot better than what their amazing fans have had to put up with in recent years

The podcast is also superb, i don't think i've laughed more in my life while listening to 3 guys speak. I love it!!! He is actually using the cane on the wrong side. Everyone does that intuitively but the point is to shift the weight off of the injured leg to the opposite side of the body. His doctor should have demonstrated that. Try it sometime if you don't understand at first. For proper cane height the handle should reach your wrist with the arm relaxed and pointing down.

I love It's Always Sunny to death, but the "longest running sitcom" title needs a bunch of asterisks. First you have to eliminate animated shows like The Simpsons, which currently has 33 seasons and 714 episodes. Second, you have to acknowledge that even though Ozzie and Harriet "only" had 14 seasons, and Sunny now has 15, O&H made 435 episodes, for an average of 31 per season. IASIP will have 162 episodes at the end of their 15th season, an average of 10.8 episodes per season. Third, It's Always Sunny premiered in 2005. Curb Your Enthusiasm premiered in 2000 (or 1999 if you count the original HBO special). Since both shows currently have a new season airing in December 2021, Curb has definitely been running longer (although for only 11 seasons, with more breaks in between, which will total 110 episodes). To sum up, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the longest-running sitcom if you discount animated sitcoms and don't count by number of episodes or number of years on the air. But hell, it's been on a lot longer than MY sitcom...
I think it’s because he moved to Texas and he only has access to people that all think very similarly. When he was in California there was more diversity in thought so his conversations were more diverse as well. But that’s just my theory.
