That crossplane i4 sound plus the aggressive seating plus the aggressive front end looks of the R1 is just🤌🏽🤌🏽 perfect!
Funny thing is it sounds gnarly, but it’s an insanely smooth and predictable power delivery.
I have an R1M, only had it for 2 months. It’s been my dream bike since I was a little kid. I cannot explain how much I love this bike. Kay you need to come visit the Orlando Florida area soon and host a bike meet!

I put 30k miles on my 16 R1, only issues ive had are a small oil leak and an electrical leak, both easy fixes.
You definitely want the m1000rr with the new high tech endurance chain as part of the competition pack. Little to no maintenance. Love mine.

You should definitely wait for an M1000 RR. Fits more in your collection and is just overall a lot cooler.

I prefer kawasaki zx10r over r1m because of being a litre class it's too much costlier which is useless and 2nd point inline sound better than crossplane or flat plane 3rd most important thing zx10r service is way to cheap compared to a r1m which service costs the same like a ninja h2 which is same price compared to r1 is much more better.

R1M isn't on my country unfortunately, there are only R1's, but i'd like to know if the difference between them is too big, and if is worthy to ship an R1M paying all the Duties.
@Lord Funeke The only differences are the R1M has electronic ohlins suspension and rear absorber, partly carbon fiber body but not full and lighter polished aluminium swingarm,and lastly got a gps tracker at the pillion seat.Basically it’s a ready track-oriented bike but all of those stuffs mentioned can be changed with aftermarkets parts which cost roughly the same.except the “electronic suspension”. That’s the major difference. The engine part is basically the same but maybe got a slightly different tune,not too sure. So it depends if u want a complete package from factory,then buy R1M, otherwise just buy normal R1 and changed the aftermarket parts little by little until it’s a complete package according to your own satisfaction.

Here at least i've got to pay 19% of the bike value thanks to the tax, the exportation value, and other things which i think will be rounding 8k bucks. So in United States the bike is 20k, i'll be paying 28k for the same thing 🥺
Im ready to upgrade from 650 to 1000, but cant decide.. r1m, zx10r, cbr rr-r sp.. most likely going for r1m because of the sound and caracter
Not that you wouldn’t be able to go to a 650 to 1000 but I definitely recommend going to a 600 first

@@zakah8469 I agree ,I love the bike,I own an aprilia rf with Austin racing pipe on it sounds amazing but it's unclear too,I have an hr of fun on it,great bike I did a custom build on it bueatiful bike, but my bmws1000rr I can ride easier and longer, probably the most perfect bike I've ever ridden, tons of extras was great to work on,except for plugs,unreal power.I owned a 99r1 built by graves was an intense bike I loved it

Big bikes: Oil change , every 4000km or every 4 months max, which ever comes first.
smaller bikes, more often. Less oil, more contamination....etc
