I have been a long time viewer of your videos. Consider this as a constrictive criticism. The Dash cam that sits over Rear View Mirror as better(IMO) As it causes no distractions for the driver. I have used two of them CaMpark R10 And QAWACHH ( worst Name, Best Product)
Funny thing is Qubo is made in India but it detects even the tiniest bump on road as if it was designed for smooth European roads.😂 And its really annoying when it keeps going ding ding ding for every small vibration on the road - and this is with the LOWEST sensitivity setting. You can't go below this or switch it off.🥴
I would suggest you to go with Ddpai dash cameras, they basically comes with super capacitors instead of lithium ion battery.... as Indian climate is mostly hot, Dash cams tends to heat up allot..... that might have adverse effect on batteries, may lead to burst... it's better to consider Dash cams with supercapacitor ... I'm using ddpain mini 5 as front camera and ddpai mini 3 as rear camera.. Also ddpai comes with inbuilt emmc storage... always better than memory cards You go with hardwire as it's a coupler to coupler connection... You also have option to disable dashcam of it detects car battery voltage

I have been using the a800s . I find the 1080p footage in this 4k camera more clear than the 4k . Better lowlight performance and faster transfer of files. The gps feature is a good addition and app is fairly simple to use

DDPAI has okay quality but few models have capacitors, it has the most affordable capacitor based dashcams. If you can extend budget get Viofo or iRoad brand. If money is no problem then get Thinkware, the best dashcam on earth right now.
70mai big screen dual dashcam mounted on IRVM is also good, specially for those cars having no rearview camera. It serves the dual purpose. Image quality is also good. Uning it from last year without issue
Good quick review. But few important aspects such as video stability as roads in india will bring in shakes. Also hardwiring options are critically important for people as parking videos/timelapses are good to have features when investing on dashcams. India needs more options and am surprised these are not added as part original OEM equipment.
70mai Rearview Dash Cam Wide is way better than all options shown in this video. I'm using it since 2021 on my Nexon. Very useful in monsoon and winters. It's work as a dashcam as well as wide angle rearview. I love it.
For 4k one dashcam I've been tracking is the "WOLFBOX i07 Dash Cam" - would be great if you guys include it (and couple others in comments below from other folks) in a followup video.
I am using 70mai Smart Dash Cam 1S, 1080P Full HD for almost a year but not facing any issues with it. Picture/video quality in day/night are good. For photos and loop videos as in general (auto removed based on FIFO-First In First Out). Only thing which I didn't like is max 64G memory card supported and for emergency video you need to delete it manually.
You should have tested 70mai Dashcam wide with night vision rear camera in the Rs.10,000 category, which can be mounted outside the car near the numberplate as it is water and dust proof. The 10 inch 1080p IPS screen switches to rear camera, when reverse gear is used and the rear camera has one unique feature where the normal view is wide but switches to low view of the road while reversing the car. The 10 inch non touch IPS display comes handy. The rear view camera is added feature for cars without rear defoggers.
Rear defogger insurers a clear view but without it nothing is visible in very humid conditions. As said that rear mounted camera helps and normal view can be used anytime.
I have been using the A500s with a rear camera as well. It has never failed me yet, and the clip is there so that you can take it out when you give your car for service. The only problem is ease of accessing the recordings, since it's split into 3 minute files.
Just out of curiosity though - why wasn't any dashcam from the brand VIOFO used in this test? Their dashcams output better quality footage than all the dashcams you've featured in this video because Viofo uses proper flagship dascam sensors in their products (usually Sony's)! Viofo is a global brand which also has its official presence (and website) in India - not sure why it was left out from this comparison! 🤔
U should have added rear screen view mirror dash cam which is way better than all u showcased in 10k plus segment, ddpai E3 mola and 70mai both has and they both are good for information detailing perspective and quality in day and night
I'm using 70mai A300 and I'm really happy with it. For the price it's fulfilling my all needs. And Shutting off issue could be with your unit as I'm not facing any issue!
Its been a year using Ddpai mola n3 pro dual channel. Ddpai app never caused any problem. Video quality is amazing at 2.5k . You can see rear camera recording. You can turn off emergency video option. There are no cons in this cam .
While selecting a dashcam, do consider the battery heating for the dashcam if parked in open, will be a problem in the summers, curious to know what Beebom has to say about it.
Wondering why none of the Viofo dashcams are included here. They are rock solid dashcams that comes with supercapacitors instead of batteries, perfect for Indian heat conditions. I'd give special mention the Viofo A229 Pro and A229 Plus that have 2 and 3 channel support with the latest and greatest Starvis 2 image sensors. Viofo recently upgraded almost their entire lineup with with the Starvis 2 image sensors. I am rolling a 3 channel A229 Pro with 4K front (Starvis 2), 2K rear (Starvis 2) and 1080p internal camera (Upgraded sensor). All three cameras also support HDR. Video quality has been very good even in the dark.
I feel like one of the cons worth mentioning for Hikvision is that it is a "Chinese state-owned manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance equipment" with a track record of spying on people (domestically in China). Of course, doing this opens a Pandora's box about Chinese devices, removing every option discussed except Qubo (which I'm assuming also uses Chinese components, but one would hope Hero removed the trackers).
How would you power it when you take it off the windshield? 3 things to note here: 1. The app serves the purpose of previewing the footage. Why would you take the camera off and show it on the relatively small screen? 2. If point 1 is still a case, you can still power it with external power source as it is powered by micro USB. A powerbank would do apparently. 3. This is apparently the primary purpose of the clip mount. Take it with you in case of leaving the car for a service or switch it between cars if you drive more than one car. Anyways, that was a good comprehensive video helping us making buying decisions. I use A500s, Love the Adas, although sometimes its irritating but helps a lot when your concentration is Off. I have 70mai mirror cam on other Car, brought it as it didn't have reverse camera, Dude the image clarity of mirror cam is no where closer to all above, mirror cam is must for vehicles who don't have reverse camera. Although it has some dugs unrelated to Recording.

I have used 70mai way before the dashcams caught next level popularity in India. The issue is the device may not work after an year for no reason and no local guy offered to repair these dashcams. The only place is Nextron in Pune and shipping service is a hit or miss.

You missed one important contender- Nexdigitron A3. Its a capacitor based dashcam, which is best suited for harsh Indian climatic conditions. And it is Made in India. 😎
This is such an important point to have a capacitor based dasham instead of battery powered. Our cap becomes an oven when parked outside under sunlight. So big risk with lithium battery powered dashcams.
Yeah. I chose A3 for the capacitor. It's 44 degrees in Vijayawada and car gets extremely hot when parked. I was worried about lithium battery exploding as temperature inside car was nearly 48 degrees and windshield was even hotter.
Thanks for the info. Can you differentiate between the super capacitors and Li ion batteries of the dashcams. They say the super capacitors are safe during hot weather conditions. I was going to pick a500s, but had confusion since it's having battery. I'm from southern part of India and here the temperature goes upto 45° celcius during summer. So, unable to decide. I use a small 5000mah power bank as a backup power system on my dash cam. It gives around one hour of parking recording with my ddpai mini.

Rear defoggers are not lights that help you see behind you, they are just to warn traffic in low visibility conditions so you don’t get rear ended

I bought the Redtiger T27 4k+2.5k dashcam about a year ago. It's been going amazing and the clarity from both cameras area really good.

That's a whole lot features one looks into before buying like type of battery, support for parking mode etc etc... Its rather incomplete video... Viofo having Sony Starvis 2. Like wise Thinkware. Only issue is PRICY.
Is it possible to use any of these as front parking camera as well? Internationally such variants are available.
All of these can be used for parking with Hardwiring. But the car warranty will lapse due to the same.

I need your help in finding a dashcam with certain needs. I have Tata Nexon with no reverse Cam, so the needs are:
1. IRVM dashcam with reverse cam as well as dual channel dash cam.
2. Since it is Nexon.. the front black portion near IRVM should not block the front view in the Cam.
Please suggest some good options.

I have used 70mai way before the dashcams caught next level popularity in India. The issue is the device may not work after an year for no reason and no local guy offered to repair these dashcams. The only place is Nextron in Pune and shipping service is a hit or miss.
Which super capacitor dashcams can be fixed on back side of internal rear view mirror so that there is obsolutely no additional obstruction of view during driving.
Please make fixed every month end or start day video on conclusion about Laptops(Best deals Budget wise and category wise-Battery,performance,Gamimg,Business,Portability)..you are doing good job when it comes to Mobile phones..Appreciate your work

You missed one important contender- Nexdigitron A3. Its a capacitor based dashcam, which is best suited for harsh Indian climatic conditions. And it is Made in India. 😎
This is such an important point to have a capacitor based dasham instead of battery powered.
Our cap becomes an oven when parked outside under sunlight. So big risk with lithium battery powered dashcams.

Yeah. I chose A3 for the capacitor. It's 44 degrees in Vijayawada and car gets extremely hot when parked. I was worried about lithium battery exploding as temperature inside car was nearly 48 degrees and windshield was even hotter.
Thanks for the info. Can you differentiate between the super capacitors and Li ion batteries of the dashcams. They say the super capacitors are safe during hot weather conditions. I was going to pick a500s, but had confusion since it's having battery. I'm from southern part of India and here the temperature goes upto 45° celcius during summer. So, unable to decide. Would have liked to see a couple other cameras like nexdigitron ace etc in the comparison video. Any and every video available for dashcams under 5k has at least a few of these. I dunno how come they never even considered it
