- I can't believe how many lip products I've finished over the past two months - so let's talk about them! This has been a really good time for panning and decluttering so let's discuss what is leaving my collection. I also have a number of skincare and body care products that I've gotten out, and hopefully I can keep up this momentum for the rest of the year. I've been on a some form of makeup no-buy/low-buy for more than five years now so I've been on a mission to curate, project pan, and declutter my collection.

*I've been on a serious mission to STOP buying makeup because I realized that there was a number of problems with the way I was buying. Please let me know in the comments if you relate to any of these things and I'd love to hear about your no-buy journey!
Suggestion: I leave the end of the lipsticks in the bullet and use an old doe foot applicator to apply it, then just put the applicator back in the empty tube and that keeps it "clean". 💗
Instead of depotting the product, so that you're not smearing it all over your lips? That's a good idea!

Don't throw out the nailpolish, you can always revive them with nail polish thinner (NOT acetone, that ruins them). Nail polishes never expire, they just need to be thinned with polish thinner. It's kind of like throwing out the lash curler instead of replacing the pad ;)
oops yes nail polish thinner not acetone, my bad! I've been resistant because I don't currently have any, so I'd have to go out and bring a new thing into my collection in order to save products that I'd just rather leave my collection anyway. Maybe if it was a polish I really loved, but so far I've mostly felt relief to say goodbye to these nail polishes!
You could maybe mix the red lipstick blush with some concealer to make it less vibrant

Weleda skin food is amazing, but not as a moisturizer. I use it in winter on my lips, nose, hands if they are super dry and crusty because of cold. It does miracles overnight! But i would not use it all over my face.
ooh interesting, is that the general consensus? I thought that a lot of people loved it as a skin moisturizer
@@laralikesmascara i have a normal/oily skin, so for me it's waaaaaaay to thick. But this product is advertised as "soothing, protecting and nourishing with medicinal plant extracts: brittle, dry and rough skin becomes tender and soft again" - so I use it on certain places only and only in cold.
I highly recommend Nudestix for a cream blush!! They have matte and dewy as well as mini kits. I prefer a stick cream product but I also think you’d like the tower 28 if you’re ok with a compact. You can fill both the stick bronzer and cream blush gap with a mini Nudestix set or wait until Ulta 21 dob where the full sizes go half off often!!
I’ve heard great things about the nudestix blushes! With tower 28, my worry is that they expire quickly, and I cannot use a blush up quickly 😅
We also do not have ulta in Canada 😭 but I’m coming to the US next month so I may pop in one!
@@laralikesmascaramy Nudestix blushes are 2+ years old and they’re in perfect condition and perform like the first day. If you want to try it, go on, I’m sure you’ll love the formula 😊
@@laralikesmascara completely agree with the tower 28. I also struggle with compact creams since they get so gross🥴 dang it I forgot about no ulta. That is a crime.
@@laralikesmascara Just FYI Nudestix has a lot of controversies with their shade ranges and the owners' politics.
The Weleda Skin Food has an expiration date printed on the back of the tube. It should be at the top. The one I bought earlier this year expires at the end of June 2025 - so if yours is from 2020, it's definitely expired!😮

I've almost used up my second lip gloss of the year! 🙈 And got some pans in eyeshadow for the first time in 2024. Last year was better for panning.
The weleda skin food did not work for me it broke me out so i used it for my feet and hands during the winter when they are super dry and it worked so good for that bc it was so thick
You should get a small lip brush that way you don’t have to use your nails and you can clean it after every use as well !
I have a small brush that I think is a lip brush but I honestly can't be bothered LOL. Something about lip products made me not want to use brushes
I have tried a couple inky list products and I just don’t like them either! Idk what it is. I just don’t get the hype.
It’s probably unfair of me to judge a brand based on one product, but if it’s their most popular product and I didn’t like it, it doesn’t bode well 😅
Please don’t depot your sunscreen and especially to a glass jar

That weleda skin food is absolutely horrible, i used mine up using it to remove my makeup, smells horrible, it is a weird consistency and so thick it felt horrendous on my face so sticky and uncomfortable

I thought everyone loved the product! But that’s good to know, guess I probably wouldn’t have liked it regardless 😅 I am picky about texture with moisturizers
Weleda is a cruelty free brand and natural. Their products do not have a long shelve live because they are completely natural. I love their products. But you cant keep them for years
that totally makes sense! I usually get frustrated with products that expire quickly, but with skincare it makes sense because I go through it fairly quickly.
