Λυκυμαδες is very close to that hotel where I stayed last time I stayed in Athens, but I never went to it. I prefer to eat loukoumades the traditional way with honey and cinammon.

Hey ladies, next time, try out Achilleas in Neos Kosmos. It's more of a take out place, but it's considered Top 5 best gyros in Athens. They are closed on the weekend, and usually, they run out of gyros by 7-8pm..
I insist the next time you're in Syntagma and want to eat a VERY GOOD souvlaki, go to Kostas souvĺaki in Filellinon 7 street and 2nd try the Kosta souvlaki at platia Eirinis 2 street. And the 3rd choice is at Lefteris souvlaki at Romvis 18 street. And one more in Monstiraki,you should visit Thanasis kebab in Mitropoleos 69 Street . Θα με θυμηθείτε 😊

Hi girls, when I visited my cousin in Greece last year she bought some gyros at a shop next to the Mc'Donalds in Athens. It was a very small shop with the man carving the gyros almost on the street.I think the name was Mpairaktarhs. The sign said it has been there since 1879! So delicious!
