This is only useful for single account, if you have designed a form which is going to fill by several users, still email will go from author's email id instead of user's id. The email goes out from the email account (author) that configured Form Director. And, yes, you cannot impersonate sending an email from the user's email account as Gmail prohibits this rightly. You can however set "ReplyTo" in the email template to direct replies to any email including user's email
